19.01.2022 A message from our Principal, Ms Ross: Term 2 has started with two pupil-free days on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 April. Across the two days teachers will participate in professional learning and school staff will plan for the term ahead. Teaching and learning will resume for students on Wednesday 29 April. From Wednesday 29th April our school will be open for the children of 'essential workers', but the Premier has asked that all other students are kept at home for the first tw...o weeks. For the first two weeks of Term 2 until Friday 8 May, we will remain operational for students who need to attend. Where practical, parents are encouraged to implement learning from home. You will have heard in the media over the holiday break that the NSW Department of Education has released a phased plan to return students to the classroom. Our school will be open from May 11 2020 so that each student can attend at least one day a week, while continuing to learn from home for the other four days of the week. Each Year group has been allocated their Phase 1 day as follows: Monday Year 10 Tuesday Year 7 Thursday Year 9 Friday Year 8 Please see the details of the plan attached to this post.

06.01.2022 This week we were due to commemorate ANZAC Day with our annual assembly. Whilst this year we are unable to uphold the commemoration tradition in person, as a school we would like to take a moment to reflect. We remember with gratitude those men and women who have lost their lives in all conflicts. We remember the men and women who were injured and returned to Australia and New Zealand forever mentally and physically scarred. We dedicate ourselves to the promotion of justice,... freedom and peace and continue to work towards a world where armed conflict is no longer. As it is the tradition to recite the Ode, we have included it for you to reflect upon as you go about your day. They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn at the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest we forget.
