23.01.2022 Volunteers are critical to the success of our work and without them we can achieve very little. We know that many volunteers don’t help out for the certificates and recognition but we feel it’s important to celebrate the contribution they make to help our children and young people thrive.

04.01.2022 At this time of year the Rotary Club of Shepparton Central are usually in the middle of their Lighthouse mentor program with Gowrie Street Primary School Year 6 students. But with a return to remote learning the Rotary club have found creative ways to continue their involvement: With the support of Lighthouse and Shepparton Foodshare they are providing picnic packs to each Grade 6 and their family. The packs, including a range of activities, will also be enjoyed at home by Rotary members. Sharing images of picnic fun will help continue the connection between the club and the students.

04.01.2022 Volunteers are the cornerstone of our work, with 501 volunteers supporting the many initiatives across the movement. Conservatively, this equates to $500,000 of donated time over the last three years. That’s a lot of money and time invested in our children. Thank you to each and every person who has supported a child or young person in Greater Shepparton, we have the power to change their trajectory and help them thrive.
