20.01.2022 Australia sent 150,000 tons of cling wrap and pallet wrap to landfill last year. It is much cheaper to make new stretch wrap from petroleum than it is to recycle it. Over the next decade we are on a mission to turn that 150,000 tons to zero.

15.01.2022 There's a lot to be confused about when it comes to biodegradable products vs home compostable ones. We think it should be easy. BIODEGRADABLE basically means that products will still break down into micro plastics. These products are typically made of petroleum based polymers with an organic additive to help it break down faster once it sees the sun. HOME COMPOSTABLE products must be certified as such. This means it will break down into organic matter in your home compost pile in a measured amount of time. To put it simply once Great Wrap goes through your compost pile all that's left will be carbon + water

13.01.2022 Compostable products can be made from a lot of things: Sugarcane, cornstarch, potatoes cassava and sadly even palm oil. We are researching and developing new ways to make our wrap from the best plants possible that have lowest impact on the planet

09.01.2022 A recent study from CSIRO estimated that there is now 14 million tons of microplastics sitting on our ocean floors. Immediate action from all us is needed to change the course of our ecosystems. We have some very exciting technology on the way regarding how our products will completely break down in marine ecosystems. Just being compostable is not enough. How all packaging interacts in every environment is critical to a beautiful future.
