23.01.2022 As the Covid-19 transmissions increase throughout our country, all kinds of small businesses in our community are eventually going to be effected including myself. The nature of this disease is highly contagious and as a Massage Therapist social distancing is obviously not possible for me nor can I guarantee clients coming for treatment are not carrying the virus unknowingly. I feel even more vulnerable especially as I work from my home, potentially increasing the transmissi...on to my family with clients coming and going. I think what people really need to understand is you may get this virus and your body handle it like nothing more than a mild cold, you may not even get any symptoms at all but unknowingly pass it onto someone else with a compromised immune system, someone with underlying health conditions or just someone with bad luck. The other consideration I have to make is that I am PREGNANT! I had planned on working right up until August but need to put my own health first as I know you will understand. With all that said I am making an call early and unfortunately I will be cancelling all future appointments with love and respect for you all. I’m going to use this time to enjoy the sleep ins and sunshine while I can. I will reassess the situation in a few weeks however it is highly possible that you may not get an appointment again until January 2021 (I will definitely be back massaging after the Corona madness settles and I’ve had my baby) If you want a referral to another therapist I have some great colleagues that I’d be more than happy to recommend that I know are still trading as normal for now, get in touch with me and I can pass their details on. 14.01.2022 The Resilience from the people who have suffered in these fires is something to truly admire. Central QLD we have had our fair share of devastation in the past but right now we need to dig deep and send some money south and help our people get back on their feet. 06.01.2022 And that’s a wrap!! It’s been a long year for me personally so I am looking forward to sitting back and relaxing with my family for the next few weeks.
