22.01.2022 It was a special day for handsome Pablo, who came in for his regular allergy vaccine recently, as it was also his 2nd birthday !! Pablos diligent parents had been working hard, doing strict elimination diet trials and plant contact avoidance trials, trying to narrow down what was causing Pablos itchy skin, but to no avail Pablo was then referred to the dermatologist for allergy testing, where a specialised immunotherapy course of vaccines were made especially for him, and... will require regular weekly and monthly injections for the next 2 years to hopefully keep him allergy and itch free !! Pablo is a trooper and loves his visits to the vets for his injections, cuddles and treats Happy Birthday 2nd Birthday Pablo

18.01.2022 Each year, thousands of unwanted cats and dogs end up in shelters and pounds, simply because people are not getting their pets desexed, amongst other reasons. Desexing has numerous health benefits for your pet and drastically reduces the number of unplanned puppies and kittens ending up in animal shelters. A number of our Queensland Greencross clinics are participating in Operation Wanted - an annual desexing initiative run in conjunction with RSPCA QLD where pet parents rece...ive a 20% discount off their usual desexing fee. To be eligible, please head operationwanted.com.au to find your nearest participating Greencross Vet and register online.

09.01.2022 Don't fancy a cuddle with your fur baby due to their smelly breath ? Pets can get a build up of plaque and tartar on their teeth just like humans can If your pet has smelly breath, this may be the reason... There are many things you can do to help keep their teeth clean... from brushing their teeth, dental food diets, dental treats and water additives But first !!! Before you try any of these things, you should have your pet examined by your Vet to determine if we need to clean their teeth under anaesthetic first, for you to then maintain, but also if there is any underlying issues with the mouth or the teeth that we cannot see whilst they are awake If you have a Healthy Pets Plus membership, you can get up to $200 off your pets dental and a free dental check !!! For further information please contact our friendly staff 3378 7188
