25.01.2022 We are currently reaping the rewards of The Covid Lockdown. Sure, it was really tough financially and mentally- but we chose to channel our energy into positive pursuits at home. We were blessed to have Allan’s Dad around to revamp our humble attempt at Vegetable gardening-and kick the production into overdrive! We hope you are enjoying the farm fresh produce that we use on many of our meals, and, when we say your getting ‘free range eggs’ this isn’t just a throw away comment- our ladies are adored and spoilt members of our very large feathered family.

22.01.2022 We are ON THE MARKET! Four years ago two guys with very limited hospitality experience took a leap of faith. We will cherish this story when we proudly tell our nieces and nephews about what can be achieved with hard work, commitment and dedication. Through that process we discovered more about ourselves than we thought imaginable, cemented ourselves as hospitality leaders, trend setters, coffee, jam and scone winners and became upstanding generous members of the community.... This was our dream and it’s now time to pass on the batton. We have never been more successful and with the tourism boom it’s never been a more perfect time to pass the torch onto someone who wants to take that leap of faith (or a seasoned operator) to come in and take advantage of a tourist boom that is engulfing our location! You won’t find a prettier place to work and better staff to keep you flying. We proudly put our baby up for sale and look forward to welcome someone new into the family!

22.01.2022 Jindyandy Mill Function Centre Clearance Sale- Sat Nov 21, 10am-2pm COVID’s impact of functions was dramatic. The rules and regulations made it almost impossible for weddings and events to go ahead. We were forced to cancel 12 months worth of weddings and events. We held on to the burden in the hope the other side would be more forgiving- but the time has come for the Jindyandy Mill to have a new life! But boy didn’t we create some magnificent memories in this gem! Our lo...ss is your gain- we are holding a clear out sale of vintage styling items, props, furniture, crockery, chairs, tables and more fabulous unique pieces this Saturday. Perfect for collector’s, function centers, stylists or wedding DIY folk! 10am-2pm. Bring your trucks and trailers- discounts for cash and bulk purchases. Many items will be posted in the comments on this thread as they are catalogued. 21.01.2022 Hidden in the foggy morning is a beautiful cafe that is fully booked for Sunday service. We wish we could welcome more of you in, but the rules are the rules. We are so grateful for the support and we hope that the Covid capacity regulations soon ease so we can start to put a bit more hospitable into hospitality.

19.01.2022 Let’s be honest- Covid has given us the time to consider how to steer a buisness through tough times and keep your staff employed. Despite what the media tells you-restrictions have not changed for us- the 2sqm rule still exists- relaxation of regulations occurred for larger events and city establishments (who were still operating under the 4sqm rule.) Yes, you can touch every avocado at the shops searching for that elusive ripe one (let’s not go there) but at the cafe you ...still have to be made to keep your distance and we must enforce those pesky patron capacities. You’re fed up. We’re fed up. The wages are just not justifiable for many post Covid suffering businesses. That’s why you will find so many are closed- it’s not that we don’t want to serve you- it’s just that we can’t. The government doesn’t understand hospitality- that’s been made as clear as mud this year. In saying that we are supporting our customers (and the complex) by running the caravan Good Friday and Easter Saturday serving coffee, drinks and lite bites. Jindyandy has a great variety of shops who open over the public holidays-with something to appeal to every member of your family! On the days our caravan is not open we have permitted another food van alternate to be there for our valued customers and visitors. The Easter School holidays will be the last weeks of Greendales as you know it. Post school holidays change is on the horizon! So, jump online and book your spot for the busy school holidays- we would love to see you!

Core staff have medical issues to attend too- and others had commitments which meant all signs pointed to taking a break before the madness! We will be closed Wednesday 12th May through to 18th May (for Rennovation) and return Wednesday 19th May under a new management style, with new concepts and new menu!
