25.01.2022 Finally have these beauties in my shop! They are called String of Dolphins it always amazes me that there are people out there that can design plants like this. It’s a true talent and gift. They actually look like little dolphins! Plants are just awesome. So are dolphins! #stringofdolphins

24.01.2022 My neon has now doubled. The beauty of these plants is you can just keep growing as many as you like through propagation. Love these leaves.

22.01.2022 Giving plants some much needed tlc after a long winter of heaters and darker shorter days. I love combining plants and crystals for adding details into the indoor garden. Bunching plants together created a microclimate and i can use some plants to create filtered light for others if in a full sun spot in the window. it also created a more natural and dramatic visual impact. I approach my indoor garden as if it was an outdoor garden, with layers, heights, textures and trying to create a natural feeling did your plants survive the winter?

21.01.2022 Avocado fun! Out of about 10 seeds I tried to grow only this one was viable and it’s still taken a few months to get to this point, so in my usual theme I’m talking about patience and plants. Sometimes they get sick, or propagate really slowly and it’s easy to just chuck them in the compost, but Sometimes it’s worth just waiting that little bit longer because when you see that root you feel a real sense of satisfaction and pat yourself on the back for sticking at it! I grew... this avo by peeling the outside skin then wrapping the seed up in kitchen roll and soaking it in water. Next I put the seed (still wrapped up in wet tissue paper! Inside a ziplock bag and left it in there until I saw it germinate. I then put tape over the top of the jar to create a cradle for the seed. Fill the jar with water so half the seed is submerged and I leave it to grow in my kitchen window. This will be its home for a longtime until its established and ready to pot- otherwise you could just leave it in the jar to grow hydroponically See more

17.01.2022 My new favourite corner in the shop. I like to bunch plants together as they seem to help each other grow by creating a microclimate. I rarely place one plant on its own unless it’s a massive statement plant with its own climate! I’m learning new things every day but I realised I have changed the way I approach plants from learning more about permaculture in my veggie garden. I’m finding that balancing plant companions, tending them with love and care, spending time with them and mindful placement can really bring a lot of reward. Oh my I love plants

17.01.2022 Leaves, colours, varying heights.. and just so much fun! Love arranging the little plant shop I have at @rangeshealthhub it’s been a long time dream of mine to have a plant shop... It might be a tiny little shop but it’s got some beautiful plants

15.01.2022 Plants plants plants!

15.01.2022 Just when your about to give up all hope.... roots begin to form and you start a new journey to new beginnings. Patience and hope - I learn so much from my plants. Just going to keep waiting and then one day I’ll pot this one and have another plant to add to my growing collection. Thanks heart shaped philodendron for today’s lessons in life xx

14.01.2022 Time to get plant shopping in the Ranges Health Hub!

13.01.2022 My spider plant is going wild so easy to care for! Can tolerate a lot of different conditions I’d experimented with dark, full sun, neglect and over love and this plant just takes it all in her stride. Although I’d recommend a bright position with filtered light and fertilise in growth periods and water once a week in summer to get this wild look. If you have a darker house maybe let her sunbathe outside every now and then when you are giving her a good drenching and dusting.

11.01.2022 Making cute packaging with art and crystals for perfect gifts - something quirky and unique

08.01.2022 PEPEROMIA MOONLIGHT is now in the shop and I’ve paired them up with a cute lil cement pot. This are fun and perfect for those tiny windowsills, or if you just need to squeeze another plant into your collection...

07.01.2022 Mixing my artwork with some crystals to make this cute little gift package, team it up with a plant and pot and this will make someone’s day- So cute!

06.01.2022 I sat with this plant for a while before placing it in my shop. It takes years and years to get a Pilea to this size and here it is in the shop. These plants are really popular again right now after a small stint of falling out of fashion. I can just look at plants all day long- anyone else out there get me?! #plantparent

05.01.2022 Out of the propagation station and into pots. Now for them to grow grow grow #neonpothos #devilsivyicequeen #pileapeperomioides

04.01.2022 You were worth the wait my little watermelon

04.01.2022 Plant Hack - hang your long trailing plants up in the shower for 10 mins on a gentle setting! Then leave to drain. This one of mine has been a little neglected so I think she appreciated the drink and drench.

03.01.2022 I’ve been waiting nearly 3 months for this moment! When I saw this I jumped for joy! I didn’t even think was going to happen at one stage and wondered what I was going to do with this random leaf in soil. But she is slowly breaking into the light, out of the soil that nurtured her new growing roots and behold... 2 new pups coming through. Funnily enough I had a tarot reading earlier in the week and a card fell out of the deck and it said... PATIENCE... I’m like- yeah I know p...atience well with indoor plants. I’ve learnt that when you think your just working so hard for no reward it gets pretty miserable... but then suddenly something happens. A breakthrough. I realise that if I had just put this leaf in the compost I’d have never experienced this and I would have felt like a failure. BUT... I kept my faith in the flow of nature and behold here were are. I’m going to apply this to other aspects of my life. If I’m keeping at it, working hard, showing love, dedication, being kind, then I reckon I’ll see rewards. PATIENCE is the key. If I give up I’ll never even know what lessons I’ll learn along the way. Thanks plants :) you really bring a smile to my heart. #plantparent #patienceisavirtue See more
