10.01.2022 This looks like water flowing around an island. Its amazing what a bit of creativity can do to what would normally be a mundane structure designed to define and/or seperate.

07.01.2022 The following images are taken from our BDAV 10 star challenge submission. As principle designers, we worked in collaboration with Habitech Systems who provided the specifications for the core wall material & the inegration of their 'Techpod' system. And with Greensphere Consulting for Energy Rating & consultation. The Challenge was as follows: "The 1st of May 2011 brings the building industry to a new challenge with the introduction of the 6 star energy rating requirements. ...As a response to the impending change to the regulations, the BDAV had issued a challenge to its members to design a 10 star rated home. The house design to participate in this challenge is to have 3 bedrooms, preferably 2 car spaces and in order to achieve 10 stars, will be required to be under 200m in size. One or two storeys are allowed, keeping in mind that both are to comply with Building Regulations 2006. The site itself is stipulated to have an east-west axis of 35 meters by 15.24 meters, with a 6 meter front setback. With additional conditions suggesting the site is flat with a presumed typical 1.8 meter high side and rear boundary fence." See more
