25.01.2022 We are urgently seeking some additional volunteers for Shift 2 & Shift 3 this Saturday at Bunnimgs Midland. The funds we raise this weekend are to help reduce the cost of EduDance for each and every child. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

20.01.2022 Tomorrow is World Kindness Day and to celebrate the school have organised for Grace from Swan Sidewalk Cafe to be parked on the basketball court so that you can purchase yourself or someone else a coffee and have a quick catch up before you head off.

15.01.2022 The P&C have been given the opportunity to hold a Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings Midland on Saturday 29th August 2020. We need the assistance of our fantastic school community to come along on the day and provide some time, we need to have 5 volunteers per shift. The money raised from this sausage sizzle will be used to reduce the cost to families of the EduDance program which will take place in Term 4. Wednesday 16 September from 8.45am (till 9.15am approx)... and Thursday 17 September from 2.15pm (till 2.45pm approx). In line with the social distancing requirements sales will be In the Undercover area with Eftpos available. You will then receive your receipt and collect your shirt from the Uniform Shop door. This is only available for Faction Shirts leading up to the carnival in week 10.

12.01.2022 On Tuesday 1st December the school is having a Free Dress Day - Dress up for Summer. Students are invited to wear their bright, colourful summer clothes to school for a gold coin donation which will be donated to the Parkerville Children’s Home.

07.01.2022 Tomorrow is the Cross Country for the year 3s to years 6s and since its going to be a cool morning weve decided to get Grace from the Swan Sidewalk cafe to come and help warm us all with her amazing coffee whilst we watch the kids they will be setting up in the kiss and drive!!

Thanks also to Patricia, Emma, Elaine, Jessica, Karen, Ashleigh & Kate for manning the stall and helping the kids choose their cupcake! It was a very hard choice for some Cupcakes!!!... Thank you so much to our amazing bakers and volunteers for all these gorgeous cupcakes. Can’t wait for the kids to see them!

We would like to say a massive Thank You to all the parents and caregivers who baked such yummy goodies and also a special Thank to all of the volunteers who help out with todays Stall!! 04.01.2022 Athletics Carnival Training is back in prep for the carnival in Week 10 Tuesday & Thursday mornings 8.10am - Top Oval Do you want to gain some fitness, work on your baton changes, flag races and team games, running, passing or jumping skills ready for the Faction Athletics Carnival. Come along on Tuesday & Thursday mornings for some tips, training and fitness!... Please Note: This is being run by parent volunteers. There will also be a Duty Teacher available.

04.01.2022 The schedule of events for the Faction Carnival is available on the website; https://www.greenmountps.wa.edu.au//factioncarnival_schedu Events will be held on Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th September.... The P&C will be holding our cake stall on the Thursday 24th and we would love donations of cakes, slices, cupcake, cookies etc to sell on the day. These need to be clearly labeled with the ingredients and your name and a classroom number for the return of your container. We will also need volunteers to assist with the running of the cake stall. There are some changes to positioning of children and spectators this year and the school has advised that there will be areas marked where parents can go. The P&C marquee will be set up nearby and you will be able to watch your child while events take place. Notes for volunteers are going home today and we will post the link shortly for an online sign up sheet.

On Thursday 24th September the P&C will be holding our cake stall, we would love donations of cakes, slices, cookies and delicious goodies to sell. Please remember to list all ingredients and to keep all items nut free. These can be dropped to the P&C marquee on the oval at the start of the day. Throughout the day we will also need volunteers to assist at the stall selling. If you are planning to be at the sports carnival to watch,... please consider helping out for a shift. 01.01.2022 This is the Kindness Tree created by the students and staff at school and on display in the office. Each of the leaves is an act of kindness that a student has witnessed. Today a number of prizes were randomly selected, each child that was the subject of the act of kindness had their leaf read out over the PA system, this was done shortest to tallest and the students were invited to the office to select a prize.... How amazing to see the tree decorated with so much kindness. What a credit to our students', families, staff and school community.
