25.01.2022 Parking on Glendonbrook Road. For all our children's safety, all car pick-ups and drop-offs are to be on Glendonbrook Road. Dungog Council Traffic Officers have observed cars parking illegally along this road. We understand it is difficult at the moment with no signage.... To avoid you being booked with a hefty fine please note the following: - * There should be no-one parked on either side of Glendonbrook Road from the crossing to the Durham Road intersection. * Parking is permitted along the new guttering on the school side 10 metres from the crossing (there is a red and white pole leaning against the fence to indicate where parking can begin). * Parking is permitted opposite the school (see the existing road sign). There is ample parking on either side of the road in the legally designated areas. See more

12.01.2022 The Gresford and District Community Group has applied for a grant to have four large murals (depicting our local bird life) painted by a local artist. The murals will be installed adjacent to the Semi Rainforest Arboretum next to the sporting fields in East Gresford. The birds will be those that feed on trees and shrubs planted in the arboretum and used as an educational tool for our students. If families could vote for this project ....Zone 20 .... Gresford and District Com...munity Group ..... through the following links https://voting.essentialenergy.good2givegrants.org or https://www.essentialenergy.com.au//comm/community-choices as the more votes that are received, the more funding will be received. 11.01.2022 Thank you, Gresford students and teachers! We’re always so excited to encourage kids in caring for birds! Last year, Kristy Peters, part of our Woodland Birds ...team, had so much fun teaching students at Gresford Public School about how to care for critically endangered birds and their habitat. These students already have a strong sense of community and pride in their environment, and we were proud to support them in taking local action to protect wildlife. Well done to the fantastic Gresford staff and students for protecting their local environment and the threatened birds who call it home! You can read more about our educational work speaking to schools and the local community in our Supporter Impact Report, available here: https://en.calameo.com/read/004107895e864d349fd48 Maggie, Caidence and their amazing artworks of the critically endangered Swift Parrot and Regent Honeyeater
