We are committed to finding the best person for the job, you may be a recent school leaver or a mature aged individual. : Griffith Refrigeration and Air Conditioning pride themselves in providing a complete home air conditioning service, skilled technicians and excellent customer service. Our focus is on providing quality products, professional advice, expert installation and outstanding services in maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. : As an Apprentice Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic you will study a Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration. You will learn the skills to assemble, install, maintain and repair industrial, commercial and domestic air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment. This position would offer a mixture of skills and experiences that is highly sort after in this industry. Our skilled trades and technicians will provide you with the guidance you need to learn and succeed in this industry. A typical day will involve: Determining job requirements from drawings and specifications Installation and service of refrigeration and air conditioning pipework, equipment and systems Working with electrical equipment associated with refrigeration and air conditioning systems Locate and correct faults in electrical equipment associated with refrigeration and air conditioning systems Test refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems Provide high quality face to face customer service Clean and maintain a tidy work site. : The successful candidate will be punctual, be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, be honest and able to adapt to our dynamic business. You will also possess the following: Ability to follow instruction Strong problem solving skills Ability to use manual tools Ability to work with your hands Strong attention to detail A willingness to learn and become a part of our great team. You must hold a driver’s license and have Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
