25.01.2022 We were honoured to spend this Remembrance Day weekend in Geraldton bbqing for the Soldier On Charity Golf day. It was staggering to learn about the number of ex service men and women who are struggling with life since leaving the military. These people risk their lives to defend us and our way of life, only returning home broken people, struggling to cope. On this day, we remember and thank not only those who lost their lives in battle, but also the ones who lost their personal battle with life.

23.01.2022 So I’m pretty proud to announce that we have teamed up with the producers of Blazaball. Having trialled this product a few times over the last few days, I can confirm it’s a gem! It is a cage that you put a firefighter in, light it up, and smother it with charcoal/wood. Within 15-20mins your charcoal is blazing. ... Yes you could use a chimney, but this sets the fire straight in your pit, and you have no chance of the bottom of the chimney falling out and dropping on your double pluggers. And it’s quicker than a chimney. With these photos I used a really small piece of the cheapest fire lighter on the market. Covered it with left over odds and ends of different sized charcoal and different wood and it still worked a treat. In the last photo, I pulled the Blazaball out and spread the coals. Put the lid on and within mins it was at 300F. Loving it!

17.01.2022 Had the pleasure of cooking for an Oktoberfest party on the weekend. Jalapeño poppers, cheese kranskys, lamb ribs and finished off with some late night burgers. As always, Mike from Tenderwest Meats and Clayton’s Quality Meats looked after us The Blazaball was a hit with the guests, so easy to start up!

15.01.2022 Did a little cook up over the weekend for ‘Steptember’ raising money for cerebral palsy.

14.01.2022 Had a great friend, LV, come over for a cook up tonight. We decided to mix things up and do something different, so I started the @Blazaball up in the Fornetto and were off and running in no time. I ran with a Thai beef salad and grilled corn. LV cranked out grilled Vietnamese chicken served on rice noodles and grilled pineapple with ice cream for dessert....Absolutely amazing feast. We hope everyone’s long weekend finished off as good as ours.

06.01.2022 For the hardcore.... I have 10 ‘Cambro’s’ for sale (brand new) for $390. They are not the Cambro brand. For those who don’t know what they are, they are a front opening esky. With a tray of ice in there, they keep meat cold. Or, put cooked meat in there to rest for up to 6hours while it holds temp. They are made to fit full sized gastro pans. ... I have also sourced a pile of S/S gastro pans to fit. These are 2nd hand. At this stage, I will limit the sale of the trays to those buying a cambro. These are going for $13ea.
