To achieve this look we constructed this highly detailed bench seat out of Iron ash (a cross species of ironbark and Victorian ash hardwoods) and then surrounded it with low maintenance, leaf soft scapes for that perfect coverage. 20.01.2022 STEP UP With every project that the Grounded team design + construct, we always try to think outside of the box not only in relation to our designs but also with the carefully selected materials we use. And our current project is no exception. Its not often you see cobblestones used in the construction of large, circular steppers but we knew that it would be the perfect selection for this space.... This endicott cobblestone from @ecooutdoor adds a richness + warmth to these larger than life steppers. But what makes this look so surprising is how the cobblestone has modernised the space whilst still maintaining that natural, homely feel. It has definitely been a labour of love but the end result is going to be magnificent DESIGN + CONSTRUCTION: @groundedal ENDICOTT COBLESTONE: @ecooutdoor

06.01.2022 Together May we give our children roots to grow & wings to fly One of the most rewarding & satisfying parts of our job is to fuse together your past with your future. When we first meet with any client we ask them 3 questions: 1. What is your vision for your space? 2. How will you be using the space? Eg do you need space for the kids to play? Do you entertain a lot? Etc... 3. What holds the greatest value or is of significance to you and your family? Eg a special tree, a hand printed section of concrete slab etc It is our greatest pleasure to be able to curate a space that honours those memories whilst making room for new memories to be made. The above image is of a gorgeous magnolia which was lovingly planted by our clients late husband. Keeping the special touches that he added to the garden was one of our clients top priorities, so together we designed a garden that honoured his memory, treasured his special touches whilst making room for new memories to be born.
