With 499 Shiraz’s entered from around the world, tasted blind, we're stoked and humbled that our Inc 2016 McLaren Vale Shiraz placed 2nd and our Inc 2018 McLaren Vale Shiraz placed 7th! That's 2 in the overall top 10 a first in all the years this Challenge has been running! And yes, the big names of Australian Shiraz were entered too! Both wines received... 5 Stars and were equal top in the $50$60 category. "This group was a definite step up," agreed the judges. No longer are these wonderful people a pop-up where they have to pack down and set up before and after all of our weddings/private functions- we are excited for them to have a permanent home now Moving locations can be a little scary sometimes so if you’re a ‘Fun2Seeya Pizzeria’ & ‘DFDesserts’ fan, please do your best and show your support by visiting them upstairs in their new space Their opening hours remain Tuesdays, Wednesdays + Fridays 5pm-9pm and Saturdays + Sundays 11am-3pm. 08.01.2022 We recently created a personal tasting experience for one of our Cru Member’s and her family and friends in the comfort of their home. Eight wines were presented for tasting and Winemaker and Cru Chief Joffa shared his passion and knowledge of the wines and their stories. "I was privileged late last year to sample a few different Grounded Cru wines and immediately signed up for their newsletter. This gave me great specials via email and I started ordering. Over the past 6 mon...ths I’ve been telling family and friends about the wines and sharing information about them on my social media. As COVID-19 restrictions eased here in Adelaide I arranged an in home cellar door tasting. WOW! What a fabulous experience! The night was full of wonderful wines, education, great friends and family, awesome food to accompany the wines and naturally lots of laughs! I am booking another one for sure!"
