21.01.2022 The mandatory face mask order has caused a lot of concerns for my fellow deaf community members. Deafness is invisible, and people will assume you can hear. ... Sister and I ran some personal errands, and we appreciated the patience people displayed after we showed them our cards and they accommodated our needs. Heres our tip, make your own card, it will help you. And remember you are a valued member of society too!

19.01.2022 Today is National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Childrens Day, a time to celebrate the children so they can feel confident, special and included. The d...ate 4 August was historically used to communally celebrate the birthdays of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were taken from their families at a young age, without knowing their birthday the Stolen Generations. Ongoing challenges stemming from colonisation including discrimination and intergenerational trauma continues to affect a significant number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. To achieve equality, we must approach these challenges through a holistic approach, considering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander childrens wellbeing, safety and development. Wathaurong Aboriginal Co Op will be hosting a free online movie night tonight at 6pm! Check them out for more details. #NATSIChildrensDay2020 #EldersOfTomorrow #StrongInCulture

09.01.2022 Getting to a drive-through or walk-in testing site isnt the most accessible option for everyone. Thats why weve introduced the Call-to-Test service. An in-...home testing service for those with injuries, disabilities or who have difficulty travelling - and would otherwise be unable to leave home to be tested. If you live in a Stage 4 restrictions area, have symptoms, and youre eligible for the service, a qualified health clinician will visit within 48 hours of your call. Youll be able to isolate safely at home, and help slow the spread. No one should miss out on a getting a coronavirus test when they need one. And this way, they wont.
