23.01.2022 What's going on at The Grove ?. Well it's been a busy time at the Grove. We've held what hopefully will become an annual event for charity supporting men's health. It was an ambrose golf day for Movember. I would like to thank Steve Medbury for all his work in putting the event together and the sponsors who got onboard to support the day. T & C Supplies, Trailblazers, Mt Romance, Retrovision all provided great prizes. Also I would like to thank the Weekender paper for coverin...g the event. To keep the event light hearted there was a ' Happy Gilmore ' long drive competition on the 17th hole and all I can say about that is it was funny Gilmore. As far as long driving went, well not many of the golfers got onto it if you know what I mean. Now there were no losers on the day, Movember was the winner and everyone who supported the day. The actual winning teams were. 1 - Grove Park Pros, with the winning score of 24.84 points. 2 - Hammertime, with 26.50 points. 3 - Medbury Mad Men, with 27.63 points. Steve Medbury also picked up the Happy Gilmore longest drive. Finally I would like to thank Keith Kinnear for the fantastic auction pieces, there were a lot of happy people who took home some amazing memorabilia. Again thanks to everyone who supported the day. 17.01.2022 What's going on at the Grove ?. Today is the start of the Seniors Club Championship which runs for the next three weeks. Good luck to all the players in all the grades. We will know soon enough who gets their name on the honour board and bragging rights for the year.

16.01.2022 What’s going on at ‘The Grove’ ?. Hey everyone l hope you’re all well and staying healthy. This came through yesterday saying that golf may only be played by yourself as an individual, groups can only be family living together or people you live with. We can no longer offer hire equipment or seating on the patio. Our flags will be removed and the hole cut in the middle of the green. All club competition has been suspended until further notice.... We will continue to stay open until advised otherwise. Thanks everyone for supporting this wonderful little club, we wish everybody good health and like the game of golf a little luck as well. 16.01.2022 Well our orchids are starting to appear which can only mean two thing, spring is on the way and so are the renovations of the putting greens . To any of our golfing members or friends of Grove Park who can volunteer their time for a few hours on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning ( BBQ and refreshments provided ). We will be putting a list on the notice board shortly and will confirm the days at the same time. Looking at 29th and 30th Sep, 6th and 7th Oct. Meanwhile keep enjoying your golf and when you’re in the rough enjoy the orchids.

13.01.2022 Great to see the Masters Builders Association back at the Grove for their Ambrose day of golf. Not only was the day a great success, there were also some great scores as well. Thanks to all the teams who played and a special thanks to the people behind the scenes for their terrific organization and time.

13.01.2022 What's going on at the Grove ?. Firstly sorry to anyone who my feel squeamish but Buddy is back to his cheeky fun loving self after his rabbit chasing mishap last week. Nothing a day at the vets and five stitches couldn't fix, nevertheless he was very very lucky as it was a deep stab wound. Funny thing, he runs around like nothing's happened and I get chest pains every time he goes tearing into the bush. Gotta love your dog.

11.01.2022 Whats going on at The Grove ?. Well at the moment we are fighting our way through a very dry summer. The little rain weve had has been very welcome. I do have a couple of announcements which should be great events coming up in March. The first being a 9 hole Ambrose fundraiser for the Sharks Football Club on the 14th of March. The details are in the photos, hopefully we will get a good turn out on the day and raise some money for one of local sporting clubs.... The second event is only a couple of days after on the 16th of March. I would call it a double header as we are raising money for Hospice on the day and the Grove Park Seniors Golf Club Inc will also be donating $1000. Its a stroke and the reason Ive call it a double header is because we are raising money for hospice and hoping to increase our membership at the club. The day is open to visitors, if members can turn up and bring friends we should have a great day. See more

It is to raise money for Movember men's health. There are still spots available for teams of four or you can register your name to join a team looking for players.
