24.01.2022 Just wrote this reminder... for myself and for you

20.01.2022 WARNING: You're probably going to want to hug every cow you meet after this

07.01.2022 Remember not to compare their highlights reel to your behind the scenes real life. It’s not real. Real life is happening in every moment, look up.

04.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago I turned 31 and I’ve been reflecting on what I’ve learnt in the first year of my 30’s, a decade I was and still am very excited about. So here are some things I’ve learnt and been reminded of in the last year. * How magic and special the ordinary moments are, don’t miss them because you’re looking at your phone.... * All issues you have with/about other people, are really your own issues being reflected back to you. * It’s never personal, never. People are living their truth and their story, how they respond or react to you is a reflection of them and their journey. Don’t take it personal. * Your parents are just people, which means they have flaws; see them as individuals and love them fully and wholly. * The one thing that has always and will always be with you, is your breath. Taking time each day to sit and breathe is the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves. * You gotta love yourself. It’s the birthplace of everything sacred and beautiful. * Eating healthy and exercising actually does make a difference. Food can either hurt you or heal you. * Routine is good, it minimises unimportant decision making and allows you freedom to have time to create. * You can share your truth with the world if you want to, but it’s also just as okay if you want to keep it for yourself. * Silence isn’t (always) violence; people are working through things at their own pace. When we push people before they’re ready, we get performative activism and that doesn’t benefit anyone. Give people time. We’re all learning. * Dogs are one of the best forms of therapy. Along with writing every day. * Dancing alone to really loud music, late at night is damn good for the soul. Maybe I learnt more than that, or maybe that’s it, either way, I felt like sharing again. Take what you please, dismiss what doesn’t align with your soul. It’s all good baby! Kate x
