22.01.2022 I often find myself recommending chia seed puddings for breakfast or as a snack. Chia seeds are a source of protein and healthy fats and are an easy breakfast to take with you to work, uni or school. Simple to make, with milk and chia seeds being the only ingredient, I find they taste best when fruit, yoghurt and nuts are added for flavour and texture.... Great for the bowels, chia seed puddings are one of the things I recommend for people with constipation.

11.01.2022 I keep sharing tips on facebook that no one in their right mind would 'like' or 'share' - but here I go again and this time the topic is poop! Did you know that around 25% of Australians regularly experience constipation? Poop is one of the number one topics of discussion in my clinic, so I thought I'd pop down a few thoughts about constipation and how to have a better poo. I hope you 'like' it :)... https://www.simonejeffriesnaturopath.com.au//sydney-naturo

09.01.2022 Happy new year! I hope everyone stayed safe and well over the Christmas break. We spent a couple of weeks locked down which makes the lovely sunshine we're experiencing now even more precious! I'm kicking off the year by writing a blog about one of my favourite herbs. This is the first of a series of blogs to talk about the way in which herbs can benefit our health. ... The blog gives tips on how to grow and eat more sage. I hope you like it. I look forward to seeing you back in clinic in 2021! https://www.simonejeffriesnaturopath.com.au//sydney-naturo

08.01.2022 It's never been easier to learn about your health. One of my healthy habits tips is for women to research and learn about health topics such as the menstrual cycle and digestion. It's good to know what's normal and what isn't. If your symptoms seem unusual, then please see your doctor or discuss them with a naturopath.... Please read my blog https://www.simonejeffriesnaturopath.com.au//sydney-naturo

08.01.2022 What's your go-to smoothie? Or do you prefer a green juice? Many women I work with in clinic start their days with a simple smoothie using a combination of fruit, vegetables, nut or oat milk, and protein powder. Quick, easy and delicious.

05.01.2022 Bacterial vaginosis is one of the most common forms of abnormal vaginal discharge in women.

03.01.2022 Reflux would have to be the most common digestive condition that I see in my clinic. It is estimated that about 10% of people in Australia experience reflux on a regular basis. Recently people have become more aware that taking medication to reduce the levels of stomach acid is not a healthy or a long term solution.... Helping people with reflux can be simple and at other times it's complex. Many people respond well to some diet changes and simple lifestyle tips that I have put together in this blog. https://www.simonejeffriesnaturopath.com.au//sydneynaturop

02.01.2022 What's the worst thing about thrush? In this blog I discuss the affect of recurrent or chronic thrush on self esteem and confidence in relationships, especially for young women. I also share how I help women to overcome thrush. Please share with your girlfriends.... https://www.simonejeffriesnaturopath.com.au//the-worst-thi

02.01.2022 A 2019 report told us that 1 in 9 women have endometriosis, a condition which causes severe period pain. Chances are at least one of your girlfriends has endo. My latest blog is an update on the research around endometriosis and takes you through the things I look at when supporting women with this condition.... Please share this with your female friends. https://www.simonejeffriesnaturopath.com.au//sydney-naturo

01.01.2022 Getting enough sleep every night is a healthy habit. We heal and restore our body while we sleep. I recommend getting to bed by 10 to 10:30pm each night so that you can get at least 7 hours sleep.
