11.01.2022 The Reading Family - Grow With Music 2009-2020 This week, as their youngest child graduates from our Preschool Music class, we honour the commitment to our program spanning 11 years of the Reading Family. Kate has brought each of her 4 children to baby/toddler/preschool music classes since 2009. What dedication bringing all the joys and benefits of music into their lives that will last a lifetime! Kate's happy and positive participation over that time has enriched our class environment with her quiet, attentive presence and her gentle support of not only her own children, but also those around them. It has been an absolute pleasure having her in our classes each week. Bravo Kate! We will miss you, but wish you and your family a joyful future of music making with their violins.

03.01.2022 Music education promotes development of the whole child across many learning areas. "Anita Collins sees Bergee’s study as supporting a wholistic approach to education. [Music education] should be viewed as a vital part of a larger view of education where lots of different experiences will assist. It’s about the education of the whole child. And music, from this research, seems to be part of that. https://www.abc.net.au//music-really-does-make-st/13061280
