14.01.2022 Something’s different this year Instead of a payment summary, you might receive an ‘income statement’. So what does that mean for you at tax time? If you us...e a tax agent, you don’t need to do anything; they’ll have access to the info so they can lodge your tax return. If you lodge your own return, you can access your income statement by logging into our online services through myGov. Top tip: Wait until your employer marks your info as ‘tax ready’ in myGov before you lodge (they should get it done before 31 July 2019). Your other info will be pre-filled in your return by mid-August. Find out more at www.ato.gov.au//Working-as-/Accessing-your-payment-summary
