21.01.2022 In these challenging times, we remain committed to the safety and wellbeing of the local community, the families we serve and our dedicated team members. We appreciate there are additional considerations when it comes to attending social gatherings and we want to reassure the community we uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness and have organised all our facilities within the social distancing guidelines. In response to recommendations from the NSW Government... made on August 2, we are also ensuring our staff wear face masks at funeral services and during arrangements and families may also wish to wear masks at this time. We have made this decision based on the health advice that the wearing of masks is the fourth line of defence in addition to staying home if unwell, exceptional hand hygiene and social distancing. Keeping everyone safe and respecting your loved ones is our priority. We are here for you 24/7. See more

04.01.2022 As part of National Palliative Care week, were proud to support the Moments That Matter campaign. Aidan is in his late 30s and the bereaved partner of his wife Toni, who died in her mid 30s after a seven year illness with incurable brain cancer. Palliative care played an important role in the last eight months of Tonis life, providing emotional and spiritual care, music therapy, physiotherapy, equipment and bereavement support. Aidan says palliative care helped them to have those hard conversations, to leave nothing unsaid, have no regrets, and to enjoy life. Toni died at home and they jointly planned her funeral. Palliative care enabled Toni to experience joy through music and walking. https://momentsthatmatter.org.au/stories/joy/ momentsthatmatter.org.au #MomentsThatMatter
