Hosted by MyKludo the Marketplace for Investigation Professionals Over 100 people are reported missing in Australia - Every Day Whilst 98% of cases are resolved, 2,600 people currently remain long term missing (> 3 months). This month the AFP launched its' Milk Bottle Campaign to promote the plight of missing persons by distributing the faces of 16 missing persons on milk bottles in the Capital. Last year 350 'ethical hackers' participated in Australian first Hackathon and located over 100 leads every ten minutes on 12 Australian cold cases to assist the AFP. But what about those who intend to go missing? David Mandrake PI has been investigating missing persons for 25 years. In this weeks Webinar he talks to us about; why people go missing, those who intend to stay missing, how people change identities, and the tools required to find them. REGISTER FOR THE MYKLUDO WEBINAR ( make a donation) Tuesday 23 June 2020 4-5pm https://mailchi.mp/9f4c30695c27/lcye39l0va Presented by David Mandrake of Guardian Security and Investigations on behalf of MyKludo If you have done your dash with CIS, The Handmaiden's Tale, Marcela and other Netflix binge watching favourites, you will enjoy this session looking into the life of a missing person and the PI's life of tracking them down. This session is guaranteed to be of interest to other PI's, Police and those who work with or live with the loss caused by the gap of a missing person. In supporting this session there are excellent resources on the AFP National Missing Person Coordination Center including guidance to Police and investigators on managing the trauma and grief of those left behind. Presented by one of our MyKludo Community Members, David Mandrake worked as a PI in the US for over 20 years and has since been working quietly in Australia.
