09.01.2022 Welcome to Music Recommendation Monday!! How has everyones weekend been? This weeks fave (and mine always) is Lady Gaga!! My Queen Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, she has been a force to be reckoned with since 2008. The name Lady Gaga was inspired by the Queen song Radio Ga Ga and is such a huge influence to people all over the world. A successful song writer, singer, fashion icon, award winner, activist and actress (A Star is Born omg ), she also has a make up b...rand as well as finding the Born This Way Foundation in 2012. Since her latest album release Chromatica in May, there's rarely a day I don't listen to it IT'S SOOOO AMAZING!! If you haven't listened yet... get on it!! Also, has anyone seen the 911 short film that has just been released? Do you guys have a favourite song of hers? Let me know your thoughts!! Gem x

06.01.2022 "Helloooooo" We are back with Movie Recommendation Monday, and the classic that is Mrs Doubtfire! Released in 1993 about Daniel Hillard, played by the one and only Robin Williams, who hatches an elaborate plan to gain access to his children following a divorce. He dresses as an older British woman, and gets hired by his ex-wife, Miranda. Mrs Doubtfire soon becomes a loved member of the family, and teaches Daniel to become a better parent. However, one night when Daniel and hi...s alter ego are meant to be at the same restaurant at the same time, his secret may be exposed! This movie always makes me laugh and much loved by everyone! It took Robin nearly 5 hours to get into the make-up for the character, and he often improvised which would make it into the final cut. And my absolute FAVOURITE part from the movie is when 'Dude Looks Like A Lady' plays. Writing about this makes me want to go and watch it again right now! What does everyone else think of this movie? 04.01.2022 MUSIC RECOMMENDATION MONDAY Welcome back to week 5, hope you all managed to have a bit of a break :) For this weeks recommendation, I thought I'd give you an insight into my On Repeat playlist:... 1. Night Crawling - Miley Cyrus ft. Billy Idol I'm not a Miley Cyrus fan, but I'm a Billy Idol fan, and this is a collaboration I didn't think I'd ever need, but this bop-rock song has been in on the top of my most played since the start of the year 2. The Heart from Your Hate - Trivium A song inspired by Japanese-American troops in WW2. An epic metal entry 3. Nutshell - Alice In Chains A song never released as a single, but one of the bands best known songs. So much emotion, I get a bit teary when I hear it 4. The Sign of the Southern Cross - Black Sabbath From the Dio era of Sabbath. Dio made 2 albums with the band before going out on his own, and don't come at me but I prefer this Sabbath over Ozzy. Dio's voice is just so legendary, haunting but also magical 5. mars - YUNGBLUD The lyrics for this song was inspired by a transgender girls story who yungblud met after one of his shows. In my opinion, yungblud is one of the best artists at the moment, and from my home country too! 6. until we meet again - yergurl Found by mistake, a track from a 20-year-old Melbourne based artist. The vibrant video screams 90s which I love! 7. Soak Me In Bleach - The Amity Affliction Another Aussie entry and was in this years hottest 100. Powerful. Nice and diverse as you can see haha!
