19.01.2022 Open Water State champs at Rockingham today! Congratulations to Chris on his silver medal in the 5km 17/18yr old division. We also had a couple of our Masters swimmers and our GK club swimmers (under the GGS school banner) swim in the public division - well done to those swimmers.... Lastly a big congrats to our Masters swimmer, Jen, and her swimming buddy, Sarah, for qualifying for the Rotto swim in the 10km event today. Well done ladies Jen and Sarah will be joining two of our other masters swimmers Bec and Kirsten in the swim to Rotto next year

07.01.2022 First TO course is tonight - Check Starter (make sure the correct swimmers are behind the blocks) and Clerk of Course (Marshalling). Tomorrow night is Judge of Stroke (the ones that walk along the side of the pool). All done from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. If your keen to progress after the course, come and see us to try first hand at the Qualifying Meet on Saturday, even if you only have an hour to spare give it a go.

02.01.2022 Looks like the race is on! Jeziel from 98five Sonshine FM will be heading down to Darling Range after his shift this Thursday, ready for a 100m Freestyle race against our swimmers. We have lined up a few goals for him: 1) Beat Eric the Eels time from the Sydney Olympics of 1:52.72 2) Beat Nicks 7 year old sister Rebecca... 3) Beat Nick - who boldly laid down the challenge to Jeziel last week on air! 4) Beat WAs very own Paralympic Gold Medalist Josh Hofer OAM We may have some lanes spare for anyone wanting to join the race, and will need some hands on dolphin timers to capture an accurate time should the race be closer than we expect. Josh will be bringing his Olympic Medals with him for those kids who would like a look and maybe a photo.
