25.01.2022 Hi everyone... This Thursday’s curries may be the last! Red curry with beef shin, pineapple & peppercorns. It’s a great combination leave your prejudice aside.... Wood fired chicken curry devil- The infamous curry from the Eurasians of Malaysia, spicy, tangy and delicious. Tuvar dal with beetroot... Singaporean Butter cake. Roti, rice, pickles, popcorn. 25.01.2022 Hi all, just to keep you updated, we are remaining open for the time being. We will be operating with reduced seating arrangements to accomodate social distancing recommendations. All current bookings will still be honoured and I will be in touch directly. We will be practicing all cleaning and sanitising regimens and doing our best to create a safe space. We ask that for the safety of our staff and our other guests that if you are feeling unwell please do not visit us. We will be more to then happy to welcome you back when you are feeling better. Going forward I’ll still need to bake bread and cook, you’ll need to eat and drink good wine so I’m working on ways we can bring a little of Guildford vineyard to you in the coming weeks/months!

21.01.2022 Taking my medicine... Chinese medicinal wine, it’s similar with Italian amaro though it can contain some more interesting ingredients.
19.01.2022 ALL SOLD OUT THURSDAY 13th!!! And now for something completely different. We will be offering take away heat and eat curries from Thursday. Orders in by lunchtime Wednesday for a vineyard pickup on Thursday between 3pm and 6pm. You will get three curries, rice, roti canai, pickles, dessert for $35 solo, $60 couples and $80 family.... First up I’ll be cooking some favourites. - Nyonya chicken curry- a straits Malay-Chinese classic aromatic, warming, spiced coconut curry. Nihari- A Mughal slow braised lamb shoulder -in just about all the spices- and a rich saffron yoghurt sauce. Dahl with silky eggplant and crisp curry leaves. 16.01.2022 Sold out To go along with this week’s curries I’ve made a great Singaporean drinking snack my mother in law makes of peanuts, fried anchovies, curry leaves and chips to eat while your curries are heating. Also some achar (a sweet and sour vegetable pickle) and a crispy chilli oil to add if you want a spicy time. .... If I were you I’d also grab a bottle or two of the Rose, it will be perfect alongside this week’s curries which are: Massaman beef curry- a fragrant blend of dry spices and fresh curry paste. Sri Lankan chicken- a balance of all the things that belong in Sri Lankan curries, pandan, coconut, cinnamon, curry leaves, tomato, chilli. Dal tadka... For afters there’s onde onde- chewy glutinous rice balls flavoured with pandan, stuffed with palm sugar and rolled in steamed coconut. All curries, sides, roti and dessert are included in your pack. $35 solo, $60 couple, $80 family

Wood fired chicken curry- chicken marinated in spices and yoghurt roasted off in the wood oven then braised in a rempah thick with curry leaves. Paruppu (dal)... Coconut caramel pudding Roti, rice, pickles, popcorn.

This week’s offering is The notorious vindaloo, tangy lamb and pumpkin, spiced but not crazy hot. Murgh masala, northern Indian creamy subtle chicken curry, enriched with pistachios and saffron.
