03.01.2022 Vale Andrew Wong Yen. Many West Coast veteran industry folk and music lovers will remember a symphonic rock band of the 70's called Visitor who many considered ahead of their time. We're sure that anyone who remembers them will have plenty to add. Visitor went on to become The Expression between 1981 and 1985. The song that most people would remember from that time is 'With Closed Eyes'.... We're sharing this song as a small tribute to both band's guitarist, Andrew Wong Yen, who we have recently found out has passed away. We have no details, but our hearts and thoughts go out to Andrew's family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The Expression released the Single With Closed Eyes in March 1983. It was released through the Mushroom label With Closed Eyes first charted on March 14th, 1983, peaked at 27th position and stayed in the charts for 14 weeks https://youtu.be/QoHU45aHSUU
