22.01.2022 IHTSAHYMN Well the day to retire the big grey has come. He didn’t go out with a bang like we planned but didn’t disgrace himself either. Even though his time with us was a short phase of a decorated career, he still possessed that competitive quality to attack the finish line with a will to win. Happy to say he has gone to the paddock in top condition and looking forward to his next phase of life off the track. On Wednesday it was very hard to load him onto the truck an...d drop him at the agistment centre. It has been an amazing ride almost like a fairy tail and we have so many people to thank for their help along the way. Too many to mention but will keep it to the main ones...thanks to Reggie Webb, Fred Kersley and other owners for their support to train him, Broome Turf Club, Darwin Turf Club, Kununurra Turf Club and Katherine Turf Club for assistance during both our trips to and from Darwin. Adam and all the staff at Durrant Racing for allowing us to come and go and helping us anyway they could at anytime, P Hall for two top Darwin cup rides as the highlight and having confidence in us along the way to complete what we set out to do, truly an experience we will both never forget, Kieth and Shiela Arnold for their friendship and advice, Cole Hunter and Kat Hampson. Also to Trevor and Linda Tasker our Kalgoorlie connection. My wife Renee for allowing me to follow my passion and all our friends and family for sharing this with us - thank you. As our journey rolled on we realised just how popular Ihtsahymn was and feel blessed to have added a contribution to his career. An amazing character in his own right whose favourite places to visit were Cable beach Broome and Mindle Beach Darwin. Happy retirement and thanks Mate See more

18.01.2022 A belated BIG Thank you to our old mate Tom Almighty! Over 4 seasons with us he has continually given us his best and his character will be missed around the stables. He has been lucky enough to find a fantastic new home trail riding in the hills. Enjoy big fella!
