25.01.2022 #nonewclothes2020 Who is up for a challenge. No new, and importantly - no fast fashion! Fashion trends come and go. Most come back again some in a good way, and some in a Pet Semetary, oh good lord what have we done, kinda way. Either way, there is an enormous variety of preloved clothing in near perfect condition available if you look. ... Consider this challenge. You can still shop if you desire to, just differently! It's not a matter of can you. You can. But will you try it? I hope you will join me! I'd love to see your thrifted, swapped, preloved looks!

21.01.2022 Yay! My first Crochet plant hanger isn't Awful Trying to make jazzy new eco friendly things & learn new skills simultaneously. Crafted from @ministryofyarnshop tshirt yarn, which is salvaged from garment manufacturers. Pretty & upcycled.

21.01.2022 I'm going to be combining this page with @gumblossomvintage My passion is to be creative but also to give people ideas to embrace more eco friendly, ethical or sustainable products and ideas. I'm not a pushy greeny. I don't protest. I'm not Vegan - although I do absolutely respect the need for both, done right. ... There's a quote that says "We don't need a handful of people doing Zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly" I'm not Zero waste. But I'm thoughtful. I do bits. Could I do more? Absolutely. I'm a work in progress. Aren't we all? I have a beautiful friend @rani.bananee who is a "Bad Vegan" I love that. The world needs more Bad Vegans and Not quite Vegetarians. I won't be shit talking brands or people. Just sharing some simple hacks, brands & products I Love. As well as Eco styling, curated preloved items and my creations. If You made it this far You're bloody Awesome. 19.01.2022 Exciting news! I will be attending the @toowoombafashionmarket next Sunday with lots of cool vintage, wardrobe staples, band tees & quirky goodies! I've shopped at this market in the past and scored some lovely pieces - it's definitely one to check out! There's a great mix of designer and vintage clothing to suit any taste. New, Preloved & Handmade. The Market is at the Longs Quarter. Right next to @sweettalkcoffee from 7am-11.30am. There's a sign on the Footpath on Margaret St for Sweet talk coffee if you're unsure - just walk through the building and you'll find great coffee and fashion heaven! Hope to see you there

10.01.2022 Hey Gangstas... I'm Mel. I thought I'd throw my Mug on here because I actually don't look totally shithouse today So... Hiiiiiiii I've been a thrifter for 20+ years. I love it. I still have some of my OG teenage vintage finds. I'm more of a quality and quirky over quantity person so I'll be dropping my finds on here sporadically. I'm also a hopeful creative. I love to try my hand at heaps of different mediums... unfortunately that means I have alot of supplies... #hoarde...rlife I'm really wanting to bring you guys some cool shit that doesn't leave a huge footprint or ideally leaves none at all. I have a few ideas in the works so forgive me if my feed is a bit eclectic! I've spoken before about having a bit of an identity crisis / conflict with wanting to be a creator but also an environmentalist. @gumblossomboutique Is my attempt at finding that happy medium and hopefully curating some cool and thoughtfully sourced goods for you.
