22.01.2022 AGED 15-25? If you live in southern NSW you can submit to 'ash dust air' - an anthology of writings from young people across the southern regions. Get publishe...d! Regional NSW is still in drought, devastated from the summer bushfires and now dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. What is making you laugh? What’s making you cry? What’s keeping you grounded in all of this chaos and change? What’s keeping you hopeful? What’s keeping you going? What future do you imagine? Can you conjure a little bit of truth and beauty out of all this ash, dust and air? Closing date has been extended to 10 September. 15.01.2022 To our loyal and supportive customers, our business, Gundagai Newsagency has been sold and is being relocated to Foodworks where you will receive the same fanta...stic service by gorgeous staff and familiar faces. On the 8th April, 2002 we went into the Newsagency for what we thought would be for 5 years! Sunday 20th September is our last day, after 18 1/2 years in the game, we are turning the page to our next chapter. We are excited for whatever our future holds but there will be some sadness when we close our doors for the last time. To our dedicated staff-our friends, past and present-who we trust and treasure, we have always had fantastic, loyal people that stood along side us every step of the way. We are sincerely grateful to our fantastic family and friends, the people of our beautiful Gundagai, the wider region and the travellers who have supported us and trusted us with your secrets and let us into your lives-a most precious gift! We realise we weren’t everyone’s cup of tea and that’s OK, what’s a journey without a few bumps in the road!!! We have seen many changes, got through some very tough times, shed a few tears with you, shared the excitement and laughs with you and lost some dear customers and friends along the way whom we remember fondly. The privilege to serve you was ours. Your love, kindness and respect shown to us will never be forgotten but above all, your friendships will be treasured forever. We have and always will, support the community of Gundagai, the community that has supported us, that’s what Gundagai does SO well. You’ve seen our family grow, welcomed us and embraced us, thank you for coming on the journey with us, here’s some photos that tell some of story........thank you! Mark, Penny, Grace and Harry xxoo
