25.01.2022 Egg allergy is one of the most common food allergies in childhood, affecting about 8 percent of infants aged 12 months. 80 percent of these infants are likely t...o outgrow their egg allergy within the first few years of life. However, a very small number of people have egg allergy for life. Join Dr Merryn Netting on Thursday December 3, in the next instalment of the Feeding your Child with Food Allergy webinar series for a discussion around managing egg allergy. Register here: http://ow.ly/Q39f50CsO9e The webinar will be recorded and there will be opportunity to ask Dr Netting questions at the end.

09.01.2022 Have you ever heard of the "Blue Tree Project"? The miss of this project is to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when battling mental health concerns. By spreading the paint and the message that "It's OK not to be OK" we can help break down the stigma that's largely attached to mental health. We want to instil in our little ones the importance of being kind and caring towards each other. So.....our project begins today with the painting of o...ur tree in the front garden. This learning opportunity will evolve over time and will become an important part of our emotional growth and social development. The tree will be a visual prompt to the community to support each other every day. #RUOK #bluetreeproject LO1 our children will foster and develop resilience and sense of agency caring for others with care, empathy and respect. LO2 Our children are developing a strong sense of belonging to the group and community and learning about the reciprocal rights and responsibilities necessary for active community participation. 09.01.2022 Christmas is a time for giving and to be thankful for all that we have. It is important to us to instil in our next generation to think about community and those who nay not be as fortunate as they are. To this end, we have set upon the task of providing a small gift to every aged care resident in each of our communities. We have ask all our families to join with us in this endeavour by providing some small gifts suitable for the elderly. These gift will be given to our child's educator and representative of each age care facility will visit and collect the gift to be distributed to our precious elderly folk. This is a massive target to reach but all we can think of is the smiles it will bring on Christmas day.
