22.01.2022 Update Road Widening Task: Roads works have been started at front of Gurdwara Sahib lot site mid last month. We planned to avoid wet weather but with unplanned issue such as Shire not applied for stump removal permit with DWER & COVID 19, it caused us 3 months delay. Key points from site meeting with BWC , Shire and Project Supervisor on 07/07/2020 are below: 1. Drainage works in progress and due to rain lot of water logging on east and west side of the road. Its causing dela...y in drainage work and hence have to pay variation in addition to delay. Once drainage pipeline and manholes are installed, rain will have reduced effects. 2. There is existing Telstra assets on site and not in correct alignment instead almost 0.5m inside the cadastral boundary. BWC applied for asset relocation and Telstra has come up with cost of $6k approx for works. Will discuss with Telstra if can reduce costs as these are unforeseen things which need to be minimized as far as possible to keep task budget within planned limits. 3. Shire had too many people looking into civil design and hence didn't complete their job early 2019 before giving construction permit for road works. As a result line marking and signage was not completed for approval from MRWA. As BWC raised, the Shire is following up with MRWA such that can get approval asap 4. BWC has late last week requested for extension of project completion due to wet weather and hence job is expected to complete by October end instead of mid September. This can be reversed as the case may be during this period. Anybody who knows any community member working with Telstra or MRWA please provide us contact details as this might help to get few issues sorted and also save community money. Site Meeting is held fortnightly and message related to development at site shall be posted to keep all community members informed. Need to plan for first part of Gurdwara Sahib project and hence need your help and participation in order to proceed further. We documented the land transfer to SFSJ in Jan 2015 and GURU Sahib mehar, we are able to pay off loan in 4 years time.... Many thanks for everyone’s help and their commitment. Please pray we can do good service to Sikh community and other communities through this organization. Dhanwaad sabh da bahut bahut. From now on, we will pace up the work for Building Permit after which we will apply for construction loan. We hope to construct entry to land with slip lanes later this year. Please Support Us, as the "Farmers Produces" are daily three times on your Dining Tables. Indian Media is paid by Agencies and are fabricating the protest. Dr Varinderpal Singh Principal soil chemi...st PAU ludhiana, refused to accept the golden jubilee award for excellence and gold medal award from chemical and fertilizer minister govt of India while registering his protest to support farmers. 41 farmers' unions have been sitting on a protest at the Delhi borders demanding repeal of the three farm laws. Farmers step up pressure on PM Narendra Modi’s government to withdraw the laws as their protest enters the 54th day. Several medical camps have been set up to provide free medical facilities to the protesting farmers, and dozens of free kitchens provide food. The number of the protesters is only growing, with more and more people including elderly women joining them.

01.01.2022 We had a chance to meet The Prime Minister Hon Scott Morrison (ScoMo) during his brief visit to Byford. We like to thank Andrew Hastie as well. The Australian Government was asked to help us with the project of Gurudwara Sahib in Oldbury(near Byford). Special thanks to Sunny Singh to arrange this meeting. Sunny singh also made a submission to the PM to consider changes to the long stay parent visa and permanent visas for parents to make it fair for families.

01.01.2022 Sahibzada Fateh Singh School:- Thanks to all teachers and volunteers for your commitment and dedication for teaching Punjabi to kids. This introductory course focuses on the basics of the Punjabi language in an exciting and interactive way. Students will have fun learning how to recognize all the letter shapes and sounds of the Gurmukhi alphabet. Currently Punjabi school classes run every Saturday from 1.30pm to 4.00pm at 82 langford ave, langford at WLCH center. Admissions open for next batch starting 25/01/2020.
