22.01.2022 As on-court action heats up in this weekends Adelaide International, were proud to have played our role in the recent Stage 1 redevelopment of our city's premier tennis precinct! Spearheaded by Cox Architecture and Kennett (who took these pics), Stage 1 included two pavilions, 32 tennis courts (including 15 ITF-standard courts) and the redevelopment of the existing carpark. The project features Keystone Linings' Key-Ply 12mm plywood soffit linings, with Tasmanian Oak veneer and Key-Tone 10% clear matt finish to face and edges. Constructed from Gen-Eco Environmental Wood Products' responsibly sourced, high-quality FSC Russian White Birch plywood, this simple, yet elegant table and chairs set also incorporates a highly decorative Parque fabric to produce a sophisticated look for the modern home. 15.01.2022 Did you know plywood is a widely recognised eco-friendly material, given it takes very little energy to produce it? An important thing to know when youre looking for the right quality material is that plywood also falls into one of 4 face grades - A B, C & D (highest to lowest quality in that order). So when you see it being described as AC or CD the first letter always refers to the face grade and last letter the back. Hoop Pine and Birch are often used for appearance gr...ade, with A Face being free of knots and usually clear-finished (ceilings & walls), whereas B Face is slightly lower quality and used in shop-fitting of high quality paint finishes. C Face Radiata Pine may have filled/puttied knot holes and splits sanded back (used from DIY to large commercial projects), where D Face Radiata leaves them open, meaning theyre always the back of sheet. 14.01.2022 Congratulations and thanks to Mossop Construction + Interiors for sharing these pics from the Stage 1 completion of the $3.5 million Paediatric Emergency Department redevelopment at Adelaides Women's and Children's Hospital. Working with architect Silver Thomas Hanley and Piotto Interiors, Keystone Linings' perforated Key-Nirvana ceiling panels were specified and installed in Waxed Maple with a Key-Guard anti-bacterial coating above the reception area. 13.01.2022 A quick flashback to the McDonald's Woodville project we completed a little while back. Working with Mykra Pty Ltd, Keystone Linings' Key-Lena 12mm MDF ceiling panels were installed by Sugar Ceilings with 35mm perforations, delivering powerful acoustics together with a custom integrated access panels throughout. 13.01.2022 The St Francis de Sales College Community Sports Centre in Mount Barker is a fantastic example of how to produce large-scale impact through the creative use of plywood. In this project, we worked with DesignInc Adelaide and builder Sarah Constructions Pty Ltd, supplying a huge array of Keystone Linings Key-Ply panels - both solid and slotted - with contrasting finishes of Aria Natural, Ebony and Spotted Gum to produce a highly visual and functional community sports facility that has quickly become a sporting icon of the region! https://www.designcor.com.au/key-ply

Together with our partners Gen-Eco Environmental Wood Products and Raw Inkk we can produce an extensive range of custom printed panels on a huge variety of substrates. This entry wall to Modbury Hospital required a graduated colour toned wall that couldnt possibly be achieved by painting. 08.01.2022 Its been a couple of years since Kinglake House first graced our screens in Grand Designs Australia, having been featured again just recently. Offering a new standard in green living, the use of sustainable and innovative design principles saw some pretty ingenious use of Gen-Eco Environmental Wood Products plywood in its design. Look closer, and youll see the fine textures on the floor are in fact ply - but not how youd usually see it being used. Instead of laying the ...sheets flat, they were simply tipped on their edge before being glued, sanded, and cut into 10mm strips (90mm deep), with the edge profile producing a stunning statement piece. The ceiling further showcases plys dexterity, with panels being laid flat, while the large door that provides such a grand entrance was also constructed using a balsa core, helping reduce the weight without impacting the overall effect. https://www.guysurfaces.com.au/gen-eco-products.html
