True Gorilla Spirit I completed 20kms today around San Souci, Ramsgate and Brighton Le Sands and I have now walked 51 kms in 3 days reaching my target of 50kms with 4 days to spare. The donations keep coming in and we have now raised $1801 for the Wayside Chapel and my target was $1500. 08.01.2022 Well done to Keith O'Grady for completing the Wayside Chapel's Long Walk Home Here is an update from the man... The Long Walk Home finished today with 80kms walked in 7 days raising $2000 for the homeless people of Sydney. I would just like to Thank all those people that donated, my first target was $500 but after a great response I raised it to $1500 then to $2000 which is greatly appreciated for all involved.... Out of 2433 fundraisers we finished around 65th with the $2000 raised and all up the tally is over $925,000 and still counting. This money will be used by the Wayside Chapel to feed, cloth and provide a safe place for the homeless to sleep which is a great cause and you all deserve a cheers and feel good about yourselves for helping others in need. Today my walk was around Jervis Bay (Callala Beach) in terrible weather but it was well worth it with the donations that were received, again well done and Thanks. Cheers Keith Bring on those beers
