23.01.2022 We have seen 100’s of people so far at the Nambour Caravan & Camping expo. It is wonderful to hear that so many people have come to stay. It’s great hearing their experiences firsthand on kayaking in the Everglades, eating at the restaurant or sitting back and reconnecting with family and friends in a relaxing native atmosphere. 07.01.2022 Some of our local inhabitants enjoying the rain Did you know that kangaroos can’t sweat when they are hot, as people can? Instead, they lick their chests and the insides of their forearms till the skin is quite soggy. The blood vessels in these areas are close to the surface of the skin. When the moisture evaporates, it cools the blood circulating underneath, which helps to cool down the whole animal.
