24.01.2022 It was a very productive day in my home today creating these nests for our wildlife. Thanks to everyone that contributed to this great cause and also for the good food and conversation x @ Bendigo, Victoria

23.01.2022 Perfect day to sit outside and finish my @amykallissa embroidery kit

21.01.2022 Final day @sheepshow and heres my little stash from today. Sock blockers are from the Bendigo Woodturners. Tap for the rest. I cant wait to be able to spin this Gotland fiber and make my first project from hand spun wool!

20.01.2022 Here are the final results from the @weloveknitting dyeing day I did last weekend. I’m rather pleased at how they worked out, but also excited because I now feel I can tackle my own dying with confidence. Who would have thought, in the last few months, I’ve picked up the skills to spin, dye and knit a garment, so watch this space! If you are curious, this is what’s in the images: 1. White Gum Wool, Superwash Wool & Silk using speckle techniques ... 2. Three variations using the same dye pot on superwash wool. 3. Two of the superwash samples See more

20.01.2022 Mighty good squish! Lightly felted, just enough so it wont shed fibers, wont break & wont pill.

20.01.2022 Coming out of the box These guys will be up by 5pm tonight, including new teal and baby blue Macrame Cord. And red and hot pink 5mm Rope! So much recycled goodness

18.01.2022 I started a new project with our #mightygoodyarn last night. So pleased with the result. Unlike other chunky yarns, this felted merino doesnt shed fibers everywhere. Its extremely strong, felted just enough to retain its shape, but still super soft.

17.01.2022 Today Bendigo Spinners Weavers and Handcrafts Group Inc. spent the day at La Trobe Arts Institute as part of Interwoven. How lovely is this natural dyed yarn produced in a workshop by @ilkawhite and these fishing nets by Regina Pilawuk Wilson won my heart how wonderful are the shadows too! @ La Trobe Art Institute

15.01.2022 We have a heap of these baskets/nests heading off this week to assist injured and homeless wildlife affected by bushfire around Australia. If youre crafty and want to help, check out Animal Rescue Freecycle Craft Guild They need many different things.

14.01.2022 This little project has been on the needles for a while. Steep learning curve for me! Pattern: Karens Ruffle Sweater by @petiteknit Yarn: 4 ply @millpostmerino

14.01.2022 Apologies, weve had a few technical glitches of late. They havent fully been rectified so make sure you click through to our store on the links here or on FB. However, this has prompted me to get moving on some changes if had in the pipe works for some time! Exciting times ahead, so watch this space!

10.01.2022 Home from the @sheepshow to a slow cooked casserole! How lucky am I to live in Bendigo! What a great day! Here is my stash from Day 1 and a quick trip to @bendigowoollenmills I have plans for all of these goodies Im proud to say! I didnt get right around today so Im looking forward to seeing more tomorrow and picking up some tools to create with this bunch. For now, its a glass of red and some rhubarb and ginger gin for dessert!

08.01.2022 So I really dont have much of a plan with this sunny yellow polished hemp, except its going to be a big round based market bag. Possibly the base will only be yellow with a natural body...maybe not.... Maybe leather handles....maybe not.... Lets see what evolves. I love the organic nature of this slightly rigid material. I will try increasing my hook size up the sides to get some nice airy loops. I will keep you posted!

08.01.2022 Finally this one is complete! Its been quite a journey. When I first started, I think I selected something far beyond my skill level. Its definitely a milestone with my knitting, giving me the confidence to tackle anything. Pattern: Yo Cardigan by @pixendk Yarn: @millpostmerino Custom Japanese fabric buttons by the lovely @laurenwilliamsjewellery

07.01.2022 3 ply! I plan on giving this a whirl at tomorrows workshop @bendigolibrary Kangaroo Flat Stay tuned...

07.01.2022 A couple of little projects I was working on yesterday. This mornings mission is to finish the plant hanger, ready to go to its new owner.

06.01.2022 Such a busy week but all I want to do is sit around in my slippers and make stuff!

06.01.2022 Can you guess where the inspiration for this colour combo came from?

05.01.2022 Single or 3ply? Both beautiful, both 100% recycled cotton. Which texture do you prefer? @ Bendigo, Victoria

05.01.2022 Jumbo Bobbiny Rope is probably my favourite from the Bobbiny range. Isnt this wall hanging by @julesie78 just stunning! This was constructed with 200m of Silver Jumbo rope

05.01.2022 Shop update! Including a small range of 3mm ropes. These are for a lightweight shopper or tote. @ Bendigo, Victoria

04.01.2022 Im often asked for rug patterns but unfortunately Im a make it up as you go kind of girl. I was rather excited to come across this beauty earlier today by Shelley @spincushions Its the Radiance Floor Rug in the small rope version. The 3mm Bobbiny Rope would be perfect for this project!

03.01.2022 Its Reno Week at our house so Im on a mission to finish off this piece for one of the boys rooms. My new candle from @lightmyfiremelbourne is just the thing to keep the atmosphere toasty and room smelling amazing. This one is Absinthe and Sage. How good is the artwork?!

03.01.2022 When you open the parcel and it smells like a sheep Cant wait to cast on this cream for a new baby girl

03.01.2022 Shiny golden flecks

03.01.2022 Ready for the crafters to arrive to make nests for our displaced and injured wildlife

02.01.2022 Yesterday I had the privilege to tick off a must visit on my wish list. It was so lovely to meet Cass finally and visit her beautiful store @string_harvest in sunny Queensland. Here is my haul, and I couldnt wait to start making on the trip home! @ Gold Coast, Queensland

02.01.2022 Finished baby blanket off to meet his new owner. Two of my most recent projects were gifts for friends newborns, and it was really important to me to make these two gifts... Something that takes time, does not always work out how youd planned. Sometimes you need to start again, but in the end is an imperfectly, perfect product to be oh so treasured and loved

01.01.2022 One of these baskets made with Bobbiny Jumbo Rope would be perfect beside my spinning wheel to hold my fleece. Hopefully this week Ill be on my way with spinning. Previous attempts havent gone too well but Im ready to master this skill! In the meantime Ill procrastinate with a Macrame plant hanger
