25.01.2022 Waste not, want not. Our Hackerspace Youth Project in Kuranda goes from strength to strength. One of the latest activities is repurposing old IT equipment so that it has a new life and doesn’t end up in landfill. #communitypride #cdpsuccess

22.01.2022 A small team from HackerSpace Kuranda was put together to produce a range of 360 degree, virtual reality videos. The team chose a few locations around the village of Kuranda, including the beautiful Jum Rum Creek rainforest reserve, and two local businesses, The Honey House and Minibeasts. The project aimed to introduce the group to various technologies including 360 degree cameras, drones, VR video production, VR Headsets, Video Editing tools and, to provide some exposure to the requirements of businesses in the digital age. This video was Produced and Edited by Shawn Drieberg.
