25.01.2022 Can you believe that it will be Christmas next month? The shop ladies are well prepared and have set up some lovely Christmas displays to tempt you.
23.01.2022 The shop ladies have had a big tidy up on the linen shelves. They may have just the bedding or cushions you are looking for. Don't miss the beautiful patchwork quilt.
22.01.2022 Lots of useful furniture items in the shed. Some need new handles, but easy to fix.
22.01.2022 Here are a few miscellaneous items from the shop. All great bargains.
20.01.2022 We’re back The Hadden House Op Shop will be open again. Starting Monday 28th September the doors are again open for business. We will be starting Mon-Fri 9:00 to 3:00 and may soon be back on Saturdays. We look forward to catching up with all our customers and hopefully new ones too.... We are also very happy to accept donations going forward. Thanks to everyone who has held off donating during the time we were shut. Let’s hope we get to stay open this time And thanks to our returning op shop volunteers. We will of course expect everyone to visit us safelyie facemasks, hand sanitiser and distancing. It’s been too long.. See more
20.01.2022 We have some lovely pieces of jewellery in the shop including these lovely genuine pearls.
19.01.2022 Just in. A funky retro wardrobe.
18.01.2022 Have a browse in the shop. There's always something interesting. Lots of quality clothes and plenty of niknaks. And what about the brand new bag - big enough to pack for overnight.
16.01.2022 The Hadden House Op Shop is still closed and we aren’t yet back to accepting donated items. As Victoria starts to open up again, with schools starting back next week, we are closely monitoring the situation. Our biggest concern is that we don’t put either our volunteers or our customers at risk. There are two major areas of challenge. The first is the possibility of infection being passed on from the donations.... The second is the tight circumstances in the op shop that make social distancing difficult. We are eager to open the shop once the danger levels fall to a safe level. One of our volunteers has very kindly donated a screen we can install round the cash register area. A great first step to see the op shop back in business.
14.01.2022 Immaculate This lounge suite is immaculate. It still has the bubble wrap on its legs.
14.01.2022 Storage - whether it's wardrobes or drawers you can never have too much. We have some new items in. Drop in and have a look
12.01.2022 A few random items from our shed - fantastic kid's rocking horse and some scooters. There's also a walker. And who is always short of a washing basket?
11.01.2022 Dress Ups - help your little princess achieve her dreams with one of our delightful costumes
11.01.2022 Have a look in our shed. Some great leather couches for the Man Cave. Also in leather, a handy footstool. And how about that rooftop carrier - a bargain at $30!
10.01.2022 The Hadden House Op Shop has its first day open today. We will be open our usual hours, 9:00 3:00. We are also accepting donations if you have any to deliver. We will not be open on Saturdays for a while. However we would love to see you on the other days.
07.01.2022 We have some really nice canister sets in the shop. Brighten and tidy your kitchen with these.
06.01.2022 Following the State Government’s advice that non-essential services be cease - . It would be very much appreciated also if donations are not left at the shop over the closed period. As many will know, the Bass Valley Community Centre depends on the Op Shop. We hope our customers and donors will return to us when we are able to open the shop again.... Thank you all for your patronage and donations. An enormous thank you to our volunteers who staff the shop. See more

02.01.2022 Scandinavian Modern For furniture fans we have a leather sofa (genuine leather, see the label) made by Melbourne’s famous Tessa furniture company. Tessa was a company in Bayswater started in the 1960s . Sadly, it closed its doors in the middle of last year.
02.01.2022 . At the Hadden House Op Shop, we are finding that very few people are visiting us. We very much acknowledge this as sign of the times. Accordingly we will only be having the shop open in the mornings. So from today we will be open Mon-Sat 9:00 to 12:00.... We hope that people are not too inconvenienced. We will keep everyone up-to-date through Facebook. We remain very appreciative of your patronage. Thank you. See more
01.01.2022 Unfortunately the Hadden House Op Shop is going to have to close again as we return to Stage 3 lock-down. We will be closed from Wednesday 5th August 2020. We are very grateful to all our volunteers who have been keeping the shop going and hope this lock-down won’t be a long one.. We are also aware that in this time of stress for the community, some people may find that they have to depend on the Op Shop. If due to unforeseen circumstances you find that you need things the O...p Shop may have, give us a ring on 5678 2277. We welcome your call and will do what we can to accommodate you. We would very much appreciate it if people could resist making donations to the Op Shop while we are closed. Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive of the Shop and stay safe. See more
01.01.2022 The Hadden House Op Shop remains closed. People have been very good about not dropping off donations. We’ve made a little video to show what we do despite the Centre being closed.... Hopefully it will be of interest to the op shop volunteers. It shows what we can do using the op shop funding. A big ‘Thank you’ to all the op shop volunteers. And we hope you are keeping safe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAJCbfQYdmo
