18.01.2022 I would definitely be interested in this!

17.01.2022 How delightful! We could use some of these to stop the bush turkeys!

16.01.2022 Today’s meeting reminded me of how lucky we all are to be part of a wonderful community. Together we are more than the sum of our parts - each bringing a unique gift to the RCG and taking away food, friendship and community. Just as it should be.

16.01.2022 The very knowledgeable, Helen, has a new book coming soon!

13.01.2022 Although the meeting was cancelled, several members came together on Sunday to accomplish the mega-task of netting the mulberry trees. Is it Spider-Man, I hear you ask? No, its Bruce with a super-net! Thanks to Bruce, Ashley, Kurt, Paul, Simon and Victoria. Well done!

13.01.2022 Come and celebrate garden life, friendship, community, and the fantastic thing that is our new shelter! Official opening tomorrow morning.

13.01.2022 I wasn’t able to be there, but I believe our first-in-a-long-time meeting went fabulously well, and here are the photos to prove it!

13.01.2022 At Saturday’s meeting Paul asked if anyone knew the reason why some zucchinis grow squat instead of long and slim. Google told us that uneven pollination causes them to grow in unusual shapes. Fascinating! Here are some members of Paul’s super-sized crop!

12.01.2022 You really can grow food in the tiniest of spaces!

12.01.2022 *****Drumroll***** Feels like forever since our last, but get ready, meeting scheduled for Sunday! COVID safe, of course. No shared morning tea - BYO only.

12.01.2022 What a beautiful Spring day in the garden. I havent been down for a while - what a treat!!! Everything is looking fabulous (a tad weedy on the paths - hint, hint) but most plots are looking lush and productive. I cant wait until meetings are a happening thing - looking forward to catching up with everyone and meeting our newest members.

07.01.2022 What a celebration! Cr Sarah Hutton and Alie made it official! Thanks to Alie’s tireless efforts and Brisbane City Council we have a new shelter, sure to be the seat of many a wonderful (and weather-protected) event at the garden. RCG’s motto, where we grow food, friendships, and community just got even easier to fulfill. Thanks to all who came, and a big thank you to all who contributed to making the occasion a memorable one.

03.01.2022 We occasionally have visitors who find it difficult locating the garden within Rocks Riverside Park. Keep to the cliff side of the garden, not the river side, and keep walking along the road beneath the cliff face. For the visual amongst us, this is where we are...

03.01.2022 I think I might just give these spices a go! And the damper https://www.sbs.com.au//forget-sourdough-native-damper-bre

01.01.2022 Spring has sprung in the garden - if your plot is looking awesome, dont forget the pathways. Lets all keep the weeds under control - they are super-charged by the spring weather! Thanks to Alie, who is a machine, both sheds are very clean and tidy, and so many other jobs taken care of without us needing to think about them.

01.01.2022 More fabulous photos from Sunday’s official opening event. A super-big thanks to the social squad responsible for co-ordinating the delicious food and fabulous entertainment!

01.01.2022 We have been begging for rain for so long, and boy did we get it! How fitting that our last meeting for the year be conducted at Rocks Riverside Park in the rain. Just a few photos for now...
