19.01.2022 This Saturday, 14 November the Hahndorf Lantern Festival 2020 is on! We chat with Festival Director Tony. Covid Safe Mini Lantern Festival, no Parade but 100s of Lanterns hung throughout Alec Johnson Park. There will be live bands. The launch of the new youth thongaphone percussion ensemble.... There will be thongaphone and percussion workshops. Gates open at 5pm. 7.45pm will be the start of the magical lantern lighting ritual until all the lanterns are lit at dusk A Fire Mural Finale designed by local Indigenous Artist, David Booth, will finish the event.
