16.01.2022 THESE BOOTS HAVE DONE SOME WALKING... after a few sets of little feet outgrowing these little treasures it’s safe to say they’d seen better days, but rather than throw them away we decided to paint and repurpose them as a new home for some of our smaller cactus! One for HAIKO HQ and one for our new home ... just right!

15.01.2022 SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES ... With a 13 hour drive ahead (plenty of time for dreaming up new ideas and defining current ones), it felt good to be back in the drivers seat loaded to the hilt for a week away with a strong coffee and our two youngest Team H members. I was a little sad that I wasn’t heading off to an event to share my beloved products and liaise with my wonderful support team (aka customers) in person, but soon began to think of how grateful I am for how man...y fantastic places my little business has taken me and the countless amount of amazing people I have met in our travels since starting up in 2017. ... 2020 has been a crazy year and safe to say we are all looking forward to events starting up again, but in this uncertain time it’s important to remember to see the forest for the trees and find the good. Times will return to normality soon enough and man oh man, these events will all be bigger and better than ever! See more

10.01.2022 WHAT A DAY for team H... . What started out as a normal Monday morning, turned into running around the house, still in my PJs at 930am, feeding Bub in one arm and brushing Bonnies hair with the other while taking a phone interview with an old friend for a write up in the paper... . We then had about half an hour to pull ourselves together, make something of my hair with half a tin of dry shampoo #mumlife , find an outfit that fits my new post pregnancy physique, and some...thing to fit my rapidly growing babies and become in some way photo worthy to send through a few snaps to go along side our article ... published TOMORROW!!! . Call in a photographer aka my bestie down the road, call in the super nanny aka another mate down the road, find my ‘town makeup’ hidden in the bathroom cupboard somewhere and... viola... we got it all sorted . 01.01.2022 THE REALITY of a ‘productive day at HQ’ as a mum... 20% OF TIME aka What NEEDS to be done = packing orders booking events... wait, not this year, thanks COVID ... drawing/designing and proofing new products and collections/ideas checking a gazillion emails responding to customers paperwork paperwork paperwork social media ads - creating/responding reordering stock + supplies photos of stock/combos etc 80% OF TIME aka what happens for most the day = making snacks (these mainly end up on the floor, hidden under a pillow or squashed into the furniture). changing bums x10000 boobin’ the sentence don’t put that in your mouth 27518 times a day picking up toys from one end of the building to the other boobin’ entertaining Miss 2yo lunch time movie selection for Miss 2yo (this always takes a minimum of 10-15 OR its FROZEN) more boobin’ lunch time naps (but not for Mumma!) photos of the kids being cute/funny/messy/weird... more cleaning/tidying sharpening pencils for the 12th time that day boobin’ again changing bums again .... to name a few!!! SHOUT OUT to all the mums out there running a business + kiddlets + life!
