21.01.2022 During our revocations this is how Ive felt about 99% of the time. However today my faith in human nature was restored after a lovely man came by and offered to take the oil that had been dumped in out skip. There had been a lot of shit dumped in our skips by the great unwashed of Beeliar, but the oil was the one illegal dump that really broke our camels back . To the guy that took that oil away - Your generosity and community spirit got a great big awwwwoooowww from the girls today . We owe you a hair cut mate

19.01.2022 Mark just confirmed that we can open up beauty services from sat 6th June . If you would like to bring any beauty appointments that you have tentatively booked forward please give the salon a call 9437 4762. We wont be taking appt requests via Facebook or messenger so please call the salon. We have added henna brows, lash lifts and brow lifts (lamination) to our beauty services!

17.01.2022 Well the 2nd man in my life ( Mark McGowan) hasnt lifted the beauty restrictions just yet ,so when we open on Tuesday 12th May ,it will just be for hair services. Brooke will be in salon just to tempt you and to show off her lovely new bed For the record and for those clients that are asking - the no beauty rule applies to anyone providing beauty services ( waxing ,facials, massage nails etc) whether it be in a salon or in a home) Ive heard of some big fines being applied to those that continue to provide beauty services and besides that its important that we all do the right thing! ( so please dont ask us to break the rules ;)

10.01.2022 We are expanding! We are looking for a 1st year apprentice ( 30 hrs per week) Aged 15-17 . Would prefer someone with some salon experience who lives locally ( and doesnt have to rely on parents to get them to work as public transport doesnt work with our hours) ... We also require a senior stylist to work Saturdays ( 6 hours to start off - more hours as your client list grows) . You must be fully qualified and have experience in all aspects of hairdressing including mens hair and be very confident in all aspects of hair colouring. 09.01.2022 We have a new logo and our refreshed salon is coming along nicely .....all for our re opening as soon as its safe to do so. We are currently working on a soft opening Tuesday 12th May. We will not be accepting any new client requests at the moment as its important to us to ensure that we can fully accommodate our lovely loyal clients that have waited for us to re open so patiently. 07.01.2022 We are in the salon 10-12 Saturday for the collection of the latest colour packs. We will be bringing with us whatever shampoos ,conditioners ,treatments styling products , temp colours ( manic panic and Nak colour masks) we have left should you need to pick up something. We can also offer colour consultations ( at the appropriate social distance) . So if you are struggling with the colour if your hair, be it the tone, brassiness, faded ends or greys roots please pop by and we can see if we can help provide you with a temporary solution. Or just wave hello!

05.01.2022 Anyone that knows us will also know that we wont let the grass grow under our feet. We may be temporarily closed because thats the right thing to do,but we are definitely not idle. We have covered up the salon Windows because behind the scenes we are re emerging. We are a generous salon - we have a good heart ,and those that have been on the receiving of our generosity are standing strong with us and giving us a lift up ,as currently ,we really need it . The people that w...e have helped in the past are now helping us and we are so very grateful. We have the generosity of some local business, trades working for future hair cuts, lots of slave labor () heaps of recycling ,up cycling and selling of equipment we no longer need ,as well as personal family funding to add a little more sparkle to our business when we re open . Our girls are still being paid because thats the right thing to do and we will re open when its safe for us ,and our community ,to do so ,because morally thats the right thing to do too. We will only be taking appointment requests via phone ( so please dont face book message us) As you can imagine the phone is ringing off the hook but please leave a message ( dont just hang up and keep calling because frankly thats really annoying for everyone ) The reason that the phone isnt answered is because we are attending another client ( we 100% will not leave our clients to answer the phone ) or we are closed. 04.01.2022 Calling all of our fellow business owners. Today is the day to tell everyone about your business. With over 1500 face book followers you have today only to reach out to a whole new audience

03.01.2022 We are a busy salon - we love that! We do not employ a receptionist - to keep our prices reasonable. We do not leave our clients to answer the phone - because thats just rude. The client thats sitting in the chair is far more important to us than your phone call - sorry not sorry. If we dont answer your call its because we are closed or with another client or we are on the phone.... We call back in the order of the messages received- because thats fair. If you dont leave a message we wont call you back - simple. We dont take appointment requests via face book or messenger - because a) we dont have access to our appointment book after we have closed b)we like to be able to check that what we are booking is correct and to do that we like to speak to you c) those people that have called after hours and left a message will get the appointments. If you keep calling and we dont answer but you dont leave a message and simply keep calling - it makes us a bit pissed off and its extremely annoying for clients in the salon too. We understand that you are busy, we understand that your time is precious, we understand that you need an appointment but please dont get shitty with us because we are all busy and everyones time is precious. If you call us please leave a message, tell us what service you would like and when you would like to visit. When we call you back we will be right in front of the computer and we can discuss the appointment you would like. If we can book you right in for the service at your preferred time and day we will do this and we will call you back to confirm. Please work with us its not that hard!

02.01.2022 Our henna brows can be light and soft. We start by mapping the brow to give a better shape. We then apply the henna to create the shape and wax where needed. The henna can tint the skin to give the appearance of a fuller brow. With the correct aftercare this result will gradually fade but should last for weeks. Please note that a patch test (or signed waiver) is required 48 hrs prior to treatment.
