After much consideration due to myself (Karen) being in precautionary self isolation and Sandra being immunocompromised and the importance of governments social distancing etc. We feel the safety of Sandras health and our clients health that we press the pause button and make sure we all stay safe. 25.01.2022 Dear Guests Due to the confusion surrounding reopening after the last lockdown and with the day brought forward to the 19th October and not the 26th October, ( we were excited to come back to work earlier ) we have paused taking any appointments until we have a confirmed date from the Government. Unfortunately due to the latest clusters, we are feeling there will be a possibility that we could still end up in the lockdown a little longer. ... Missed appointments We have a record of all appointments that were not fulfilled due to the current extended lockdown. We have been working through these appointments to reschedule accordingly. As Im doing the work of two so please be understanding that unfortunately theres not any room to change appointments over. I will have Georgia in helping me out when possible with baby in tow!! ... 15.01.2022 Good evening Hairessence & co guests I’ve been at the salon all day getting ready for our reopening!!! Yay (and I’m still here!!) We now have COVID safe screens for your protection! Just waiting for one more screen to come in tomorrow for the front desk! A deep clean has been done right through the salon ... We have been busy rebooking previous clients that had missed their appointments due to us being closed down in August. Please be understanding that we have been closed for 12 weeks and there is only 8 weeks till Christmas. We will do our best to get you booked in. We will contact you regarding appointments. Please again I ask for your patience In regards to your booking due to your increased regrowth and fading, you will be reassessed And your appointment time will be longer than our average service. Costing on your color work will be 2-3 times as much work to previous color for us to achieve the same result. We will offer you a quote prior to your service. Cancellation/Change of time Please if you are not feeling well or have any FLU /COVID symptoms please call us immediately. At this time we cannot change appointments around. 09.01.2022 First day...... done and dusted!!! Makes you appreciate all the hard work we have done throughout the last 3 months in lockdown. We did do it tough we were challenged but we have come out of this stronger and better than ever and we are going to continue to move forward try and beat it. We have to stay safe and well and look after one another to have as much of a covid normal as we can. Geez it feels so great to be back on the floor and behind the chair!! ... Started at 10am finished up at 11pm. Looks like the next 2plus weeks are going to be like that Knowing you make a difference in someone's life, on how they look and how they feel about themselves or whatever is going on in their lives, is the best feeling ever!! Today everyone who left the salon beamed with glowing smiles and had the biggest spring in their step, it made my heart sing I LOVE MY JOB What more could I ask for?? I apologize for those calls that went to msg bank, and to those who contacted me via text/calls yesterday. I will do my best to get back to you over the next couple of days. Due to the circumstances that had unfolded while she was away she is unable to do her clients until she can return back to work hopefully by 3rd April and will work 7 days a week to get you looking beautiful again even through Easter. ... Sandra is still working at the salon and will try to accommodate your appointments. *Please also be mindful of your own health and if you have been in contact with anyone who has been overseas in the last 14 days or have any flu like symptoms or are unwell you will need to reschedule your appointment. * Amid all the covid 19 fears We want to re assure you we are taking hygiene and your personal care very seriously we will only have 3 clients at a time in salon. We are requesting all guests cancel their appointment if:... They have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 They are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have had a positive result They have returned from overseas in the last 14 days or recently left hotel quarantine If they are feeling unwell or have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing or they should be self-isolating for any other reason Upon entry to the salon: Masks are mandatory to attend your appointment and you must supply your own Request you sanitize your hands Ask if you have updated your details online through the link provided with your reminder message Will take your temperature and we will reschedule anyone over 37.7 degrees We won’t be providing you with any magazines, you are free to bring your own mags book ipad (salon wifi available) As well as the above we continue with the following: Ensuring clients are spaced over 1.5 meters apart Following WHO hand washing instructions Sterilizing all equipment and stations after every use Online booking is currently turned off so we can manage all bookings. 04.01.2022 Today one of our lovely clients braved the scissors for an amazing cause. 36 cm chopped to help make wigs for kiddies that are unwell. She waited those few extra months for the big chop so she could help someone in need rather than just chucking it in the bin! Definitely something to consider if youre thinking of having a big chop!
