24.01.2022 Exciting news! Hall Contracting has been awarded the contract for capital dredging and land reclamation works as part of the Port of Townsville Channel Upgrade Project! The upgrade will improve accessibility, enabling larger cargo, cruise and defence vessels to access the port. As the only Australian dredging contractor in contention for the project, we're thrilled to be making a significant contribution to the Queensland economy and supporting local jobs This will be the third major Queensland Port project for our backhoe dredge, Woomera, after successfully completing the Cairns Shipping Development Project in 2019 and the Clinton Vessel Interaction Project at Port of Gladstone in 2020. 11.01.2022 Exciting news! The Bokarina Beach master-planned development has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Civil Contractors Federation - Queensland Earth Awards. As part of this project, our team undertook acid sulphate soil management and vegetation translocation, and also constructed roads, sewerage and water infrastructure, a multi-lane bridge, pedestrian underpass, lake and more. We’re among good company in the $30 million to $75 million category and looking forward to the awards evening in October!

01.01.2022 We’re delighted to announce we have recently joined the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's panel of providers for the delivery of head contractor capital infrastructure services in the Pacific and Timor Leste. This enables us to deliver high-priority, quality infrastructure such as seawalls, wharves, jetties, ports, roads and more across the region on behalf of the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP). We’re looking forward to expanding our presence in the Pacific and contributing to such essential development projects!
