16.01.2022 Correcting old microblading, I know i've said this before but I feel I need to keep saying it. Microblading is a stepping stone technique, it can only be performed safely a maximum of three times!! after that and the skin of your brows will just be too scarred and damaged, unfortunately there are a lot of artists who are only trained in microblading that will happily blade over and over again, I often see this and it is horrific for the client. Some are so scarred that their brows become thick and they no longer have feeling in their brows, the only way forward is to try break down the scarring and remove the layer upon layer of pigment over many months of removal treatments. Fortunately this case only had one treatment of microblading many years ago so was easily corrected with a colour correction and new shape.

Its important to understand that every artist has a different style just as every painter has a different style of artwork. I refuse to use stick on stencils because I believe there should not be a one size fits all approach to brow tattoo. Every one is unique, from their bone structure to their skin, just as every brow should be unique.
