10.01.2022 Thanks to all the Mum's who came to our afternoon tea on Friday for a Hamilton House Mother's Day Celebration! It was lovely to share the special time with you and your little ones! We also had one of our mums take some great photos too! Thank you Sufi (if you are looking for a photographer her details are next to the sign in kiosk!) We hope you enjoyed the creative gifts from your children and had a nice day on Sunday! Hamilton House Team

09.01.2022 Our excursion to the Metro Woolworths at Hamilton Harbour! After an exciting journey walking from our Centre to Woolworths we arrived at our destination early. We sat down to rest our legs, have a drink and enjoy some songs/ rhymes.... Finally it was time to go inside! We were greeted by the lovely Glenda who passed around some hair nets for heath and safety. Everyone looked very snazzy in their hair nets including the teachers and our mummy volunteers! We began our tour out the back learning all about the loading zone, recycling process, how the fruit is cut/ packaged and peeked into the cold freezers! Next it was time to see the bread loaf slicer! The children loved watching this and commented on how yummy the bread smelt. We then toured the supermarket to have a look through some of the produce. Glenda talked about healthy food and our ‘sometimes’ foods. To finish of our tour we went into the VIP staff room to make some fruit rockets! The staff had prepared some watermelon, strawberries, rockmelon and blueberries for the children to stick onto straws and enjoy. What a fantastic excursion and experience for the children out in the community! Thanks Woolworths Hamilton Harbour and our wonderful parent volunteers!

05.01.2022 Baby Give Back is a registered charity on the Gold Coast with a mission to give back by collecting and re-homing essential baby items for those in need. It helps families in crisis because every baby deserves an equal start. They provide donations via social service agencies and social workers who are qualified to assess a family's need. Items range from nappies and wipes, through to prams, cots and car seats and everything in between.
