24.01.2022 Our typical beautiful Whitsunday weather was on show for our competitors today. Thank you for making the trip to #hamiltonisland this year, and congratulations on a great race! Good luck to all our Tri competitors for tomorrow make sure to #racehardrecoverharder! This morning, 27 runners 'Powered to the Peak' on the 4.8km round trip uphill only to be met with the most stunning views from our new Passage Peak viewing platform. In the afternoon, 195 swimmers, from begin...ner to elite, took part in the 750m and 2km Ocean Swim off Catseye Beach, with the amazing Madame Butterfly @susie_oneill1 at the front of the pack yet again! 21.01.2022 Get ready to push yourself in paradise! We are thrilled to confirm the 2020 Hamilton Island Triathlon and Ocean Swim will be going ahead. Due to social distancing requirements and as the safety of participants is our priority, we have made the decision to host the Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim on Catseye Beach this year. Given this change, the Ocean Swim will now take place on the afternoon of the 21st of November. The Triathlon and Junior Triathlon will be held on the morning ...of the 22nd of November. If you are impacted by this decision or should you no longer be able to participate in these events, we will be offering a full refund on entry fees.
