23.01.2022 Unfortunately the A Grade fell an agonising 8 runs short against Kapunda, resulting us losing our final. After being forced up to Grade 2 this year, the boys have done an awesome job making to finals. So much effort has gone into this year, with upgrades to our pitch and training nets, chasing new sponsors which have been incredible to say the least, and everyone pitching in and doing their part. 23.01.2022 Unfortunately for the B grade they didn’t come home with the chocolates after being bowled out for 86. Watto Snr led the charge with a solid 33 and a few other contributors. Next week Hamley take on Truro @ Truro on Sunday the 15th.

20.01.2022 On Saturday the A grade went up against Kapunda on our first of the 2 day game. After we decided to have a bowl, our opening bowler Matt Busch took a wicket second ball, after his previous match effort of getting one first ball! We bowled out Kapunda for 139 with 1 over left in the day for us to face out in the middle. Both Rowdy and Hamsy took 3fa each.

19.01.2022 Great start to the season on day 1 so far with our first 2 day match against Long Plains. We kept the home side to 119 runs, Matt Busch taking 3 scalps with of them being the first ball of the match! Pressure was on from the start and mounting quickly with 2 run outs from both Sam Collings and Hayden Bubner. Longies then tried to steady the ship but our bowling kept them from scoring well.... We go back this Saturday to have a hit and chase down the runs. On another note, B grade start this weekend with their first game being held at the Wasleys oval against Tanunda. Be sure to come on out and support your local club. #Bombers

18.01.2022 Unfortunately the A grade couldn’t bring home the win yesterday by falling an agonisingly 3 runs short for the win. Honourable mention to Terry baker for nearly getting us over then line. The B grade had a good win yesterday with Tanunda failing to put a side together, resulting in a win by Forfeit! Onto next week with the A grade going up against Kapunda at Home on the new hard wicket we installed yesterday, and the B grade will be up against South Gawler at the Gawler High School.

13.01.2022 After a hard fought out year going up quality opposition, Our A2’s will now officially play in their first final in the BLCA going up against Kapunda. This Saturday the match will start at 1pm and to be played at Dutton Park in Kapunda. Friends, family and supporters all welcome to attend and cheers us all on!

11.01.2022 The B grade side went up against South Gawler at Gawler High School and had a convincing victory winning by 104 runs. Hamley set the tone with a very good score of 8/157 off of our 40 overs. Everyone contributed with runs with special mentions to Brenton Watson hitting 40 and Jordan Rosie hitting 23. Our bowling was tight, and bowled the home side out for 53 in 27 overs.... Jordan Rosie - 3/20 Ashden - 3/9 And young Corbin took 1/2 off of 1 over. Next week is against Greenock at Nuri High School

10.01.2022 ALL TRAININGS AND GAMES CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! Even though the BLCA and SACA haven’t handed down anything as yet, following the premiers press conference this afternoon, all trainings and matches are cancelled until further notice. Stay tuned for further information regarding games / fixtures but it looks like we're not playing for a few weeks at least.

10.01.2022 Weekend recap! The A grade played exceptionally well, bowling Nuriootpa for a total of 66! The bowlers shared the wickets between them with Rowdy, Bubs and Sauce collecting 2 each. Leg spinning guru ‘Thomas Smith ‘ then came along to take 3 wickets in 4 balls, and almost resulting in a hat trick! Our innings leaves us 2/60 off 24 overs with Craig Callies ‘aka’ Hot Sauce leading the charge with a solid 40 to continue on next week with us requiring 7 runs for the win this weekend.

08.01.2022 To all players, members & supporters of The Hamley Bridge Cricket Club. On Sunday 11th of April we will be holding our presentation day for the 2020/21 season on the front lawns of The Wasley Grainger Hotel starting 12 noon. A BBQ lunch & salads for $ 10.00 per plate will be on offer followed at 1.30pm for presentations. ... Following that a live band ( G-Force ) will be performing between 2 to 6 for our entertainment also a keg of Tooheys Old will be sold for $2.00 per cup It would be great to finish off the season with as many players/partners & friends as possible, It would be appreciated if you can send through if you & how many in your group will be attending so we can cater for everyone!
