14.01.2022 Dear All Member Past and Present Please note tomorrow's AGM meeting has been postponed till the 8th December due to COVID restrictions not being eased to accommodate potential AGM numbers. Your cooperation and patience on this matter has been much appreciated. This also allows me to announce that the membership fees will remain as per the attached which were due as of the 1st October 2020. However due to COVID there will be a certain element of grace for the payment proce...ss to take place so we can fill any questions that may be asked of the current situation. If you have any questions in relation to the attached please do not hesitate to contact myself or a committee member to discuss. Once again we hope to see you all on the court in the near future. Kind Regards Robert Arzanovski HPTC President Mob: 0404 459 995 Email: [email protected]

14.01.2022 Hi All Members Past and Present It's that time again for our volunteers to dig deep and assist with a key fundraising event for the club which occurs only twice a year at a maximum, and due to COVID restrictions easing we are fortunate to have another on Sunday the 29th November 2020. Each shift now requires 5 people in total meaning it would be great if we could have 20 people in order to avoid having double shifts for people, especially if it's a hot day. Once again the f...undraising goes back into the running of the club and assisting in improving the club facilities. Please respond with details of the time slot and role you wish to carry out and a final roster will be distributed accordingly on the Thursday prior to the BBQ event. First in, is the winner in relation to time allocations Hope to see you all get involved. -- Kind Regards Robert Arzanovski HPTC President Mob: 0404 459 995

12.01.2022 Sometime during Saturday evening, Hamlyn Park Tennis Club was broken into and the would be ganstas* thought it would be fun to ransack the club in search of anything valuable to fund their miserable life habits. If anyone is offered cheap Dyson equipment including a vacuum and Dyson heater, please contact the club via their Facebook link (search Hamlyn Park Tennis Club). Thank you to those who have helped advise authorities and assist with clean up. *In lieu of being unable to print other descriptions to describe those involved, would be gangstas was the best I could come up with!

05.01.2022 Dear members, a reminder to please lock the gate every time you finish using the courts. Please link the chain up to the fence and lock with the padlock as shown in the photo. Thanks for your cooperation.

05.01.2022 2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING UPDATE Dear Members It has been an interesting 2019 20 year for the Hamlyn Park Tennis Club, and all involved with both exciting yet uncertain times ahead of us. Further to receipt of grant funding from the City of Greater Geelong planning is still moving forward to upgrade the lighting to courts 1 to 3 and future proof an automated court booking system for members. We currently have a preliminary design prepared for quotation purposes by Council... in the coming months with work anticipated to be completed by the end of the year on the lighting upgrade. Secondly as many of you can see court 1 has seen better days and as part of the upgrade works and long-term maintenance of the courts, we propose to resurface all 3 courts concurrently with the lighting upgrade. This will ensure down time is kept to a minimum period and works are completed in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible with limited interruptions to social tennis. The courts surface will be like the current surface with samples on display in the club rooms in the coming months for those interested once a preferred contractor has been selected. In terms of uncertainty COVID 19 has impacted us all and I would like to thank all involved that have assisted in making sure we can all safely go and play tennis whether it be at a social or competitive level. On that note I would like to invite all members to 2020 AGM for the Hamlyn Park Tennis Club so you can see and be a part of what is coming up in 2020 21. The committee will be re elected with all positions open and available. Attached is the following Agenda for the proposed AGM with nomination forms for Committee positions. I cannot stress enough for all members to get involved as it is exciting times at the club. The more contributors to the club, the more benefits we can give back to the members, in the meantime please take care and stay safe. Look forward to seeing you all on the tennis court in the near future. Kind Regards HPTC President Robert Arzanovski
