25.01.2022 Nine News reports that a planned health and aged care campus at HammondCare's Greenwich Hospital will provide new opportunities to support vulnerable older people to live independently for longer.

25.01.2022 HammondCare CEO Mike Baird participated in a panel for the Parliamentary Friends of Palliative Care last week which discussed the importance of palliative care in aged care, something HammondCare has passionately advocated. As part of the conversation, Mike said of his experience so far: I’d describe it as a privilege, to go and meet with our staff and team at the frontline, our care workers and our nurses and clinicians, and everyone in our residential care system who are ...as one, trying to improve the quality of life [for the people] they are serving and caring for. And I can give you already 20 or 30 examples where I think that is exactly, exactly, how I would want my mother or my father or someone I loved to be looked after... there are undoubtedly learnings across the sector, and I hope that it’s actually a turning point in the nation where we determine the value of our elderly Watch the full panel discussion here: http://ow.ly/haWd50BCIqd
