25.01.2022 Drowning Prevention with Wendy These classes are a great way to get children safe faster than group classes, when parents are unable to commit to our survival swim program. We teach children skills to swim independently as soon as possible. They learn how to survive in water, which also gives them the confidence to love the water! ... Drowning Prevention lessons are available 7 days a week. These Private 10 minute lessons aim to get little ones safe before they learn stroke development. They are suitable for children 3 and up, slightly younger if the children are familiar with us and our program. Send us a PM or contact Reception for more info or to enrol. The sooner the safer

15.01.2022 Parents, do you know First Aid and CPR? You never know when your child, their friend or someone around you may need your help. Knowing how to respond quickly and effectively in an emergency situation literally saves lives. Swimming Teachers have to do a CPR course every year, and someone at each Swim Facility must do a First Aid course every 3 years. Courses are available frequently throughout the year and for under $100. It is a small investment, and very worth doing

05.01.2022 Adults enrol in swimming lessons for varied reasons and with different goals in mind. For many, their first lesson is their first exposure to swimming. Some return to the pool after a scary incident when they were younger. Many of our families know Brian who manages our Canning Vale swim school. He recently did a huge running event - 70 kms in an ultramarathon, up and down the hills of the beautiful Cape to Cape in the Margaret River region. Now he is training for his first s...olo triathlon. He has never swum more than 50 metres at a time and his first event is a 750 metre swim in January It will be a challenge, but Brian is a determined athlete who loves to focus his energy to reach new goals. Whatever your goals or needs, our experienced Waterwise Instructors can help. We have lessons 7 days a week at our Willetton & Canning Vale pools. 03.01.2022 Survival Swim in Action During the covid break, about 8 weeks after lessons had stopped, 21 month old Felicity fell into a canal in Mandurah. Her Dad watched her roll over for a breath then turn and catch the edge. She knew exactly what to do in that moment and calmly saved herself. Would your toddler have the skills to do the same?... If you are not confident your child could survive an accidental fall into water, please contact us! Children can get safe with these effective survival skills in just a few weeks.
